I was fired because....

Probably safe to say that most people get fired from something at least once in their lives....let's get the stories

1. My first job was working in a bakery. I hated EVERY minute of it. Scraping the floor to get the gunk up, washing dishes for hours, etc. etc. I won't lie, I 1/2 ***** it while working. Company policy was that all employees took home day old goods. **** that, bruh. I want the fresh stuff. Got reprimanded more times than I can count for doing this. The nail in the coffin was when I was working the floor and had to get the pre-ordered cakes from the fridge to give to the customers. I sucked at doing this, b/c my thumbs would ALWAYS go in the back of the cake leaving two giant holes. Because the thumb holes were facing me when showing the cakes to the customers, they didn't think anything was wrong with their purchase. Obviously, there would be calls back to the bakery within minutes of those customers unboxing their cakes at home. The bakery would have to reimburse and provide a new (free) cake the next time. Yeah...I lasted all of 3 weeks at this job before being let go. That was the end of my career in the bakery business

2. In college I worked the front desk at the dorm checking people in during my freshman year. Some nights it was DEAD. There was one evening, to pass time, that I decided to smear peanut-butter in wads of wet paper towels. I'd throw these wads at my boy's window which was on the 2nd floor of the dorm. It turned into a mini-war as he and some other friends were throwing all sorts of **** back out trying to get me. This went on for about an hour or so, so you can imagine the mess that was on the side of the dorm and around the window. For whatever the reason, my supervisor decided to check in on me in person that night and I saw her coming around the corner. I sprinted to the nearest sink and was trying to wash myself off and get rid of the evidence. She saw me (and I was COVERED in peanut butter) and asked if I knew anything about the mess on the dorm. I said I didn't know what she was talking about and continued to try to wash everything off. I was fired on the spot

Aight, NT....have at it....

Got a job at six flags

Was hoping you were telling us you got fired.

But I have been fired from one job.

Teenager. We had to walk around downtown DC and get people to fill out cards saying they don't support cutting down trees in the Amazon.

So I used to meet all types of people. Sometimes I would meet folks, talk to them for a while and tell them to sign like 10+ cards for me.

Met this girl, started "talking" to her. So I would just take cards over her house and she would just fill them out.

Manager dude caught on, fired me.

It was a cool job though in terms of just being around downtown as a teenager. 4 hours shifts.

I never got fired but I did some work stories.

My first job was at dunkin/baskin robbins and I would work the counter and my boy would do the sandwich station. One day a lady comes in asking for a bagel with butter and I get the sandwich made fast and easy. She comes back asking for extra butter on the bagel so I send it back and ask for extra butter and my boy puts it on. This lady comes back again and says "I thought I asked for extra butter, what is up with you guys?!" So I said I'll fix it and I go to the sandwich station to look at her bagel. This **** is soaked with butter and I'm just like aight I got you. I layered that ******* butter like it was cream cheese on that bagel and delicately wrap it back up and give it to her. She goes back to her seat and picks up the bagel and all the butter squeezes out of every edge all onto her hands and just decides to leave the store.

Never got fired but I have a walking out story.

Worked as an assistant manager at a shoe store during college, I don't know if I had bad luck but my Managers were always getting fired, like 3 in a row. The fourth one I got was a major *****, she would always just side eye me, looked like a meth head, and we just had no chemistry, and she scheduled me every weekend. One day I went to my grandmothers 90th birthday party AND got in an accident. Came in like yeah I'm sorry I am late, mind you I'm like 15 minutes late, and I was NEVER late. She hits me back with "you always have an excuse, there's always something with you"

I started pondering for a second, stared her right in the eye and said "Naw there's something with you, I quit and you should too, meth kills"

Swag was on 100 until I struggled getting the store key off my key ring

Felt good for like 3 months, I would recommend everybody walking out on one job to get it out of their system. Feels exactly as good as it looks in the movies.

1. Worked at a grocery store, first job ever at 16. Pretty self-explanatory but I was giving out crazy discounts. Bros came through the line with a quick check out amount of items and I'd slash the total price all the way down to a dollar with those "Works on everything" store specific coupons. Corporate eventually caught on and only managed to track down 2 weeks worth of evidence. Only tracked like $14...... Slashed bout a couple hunn. Steal from the rich, give to the homies

2. Worked at a bank. Racist branch manager. Dude who hired me was building the most multicultural work place in an area dominated by whites (he was also a white dude) and she came in and completely reversed the entire situation. I was first, my boy came very shortly after. Other latino homie is gone too.

Fired from Victoria's Secret like 3 years ago. I was with my ex and our anniversary was approaching. They give you "gratis" bras with every new launch, or ever so often. I had 3 of them bras planning a gift for her. I exchanged all of them for fancy ones and just paid the difference. I knew this was against policy, but that's not where I effed up. I didn't use someone else to exchange them and instead, I went myself to other locations and even used my license for one of the transactions.

Got called into the managers office few weeks later and loss prevention fired me over the phone.

It was a **** job but I started tearing up . Then my manager starts legit crying and I ended up kinda consoling her.

I got fired back in college.

I was working as one of the building managers of the school's student center. Just a quick side bar, I got so many yambs working there... Good times. :smokin

So one night the Deltas are hosting an event. One of the faculty staff members were in the room with them, and I had to give her a letter before my shift ended. So I opened the door, walked in, gave her the letter and walked back out. I thought she grabbed the letter a bit rudely, but I said f it and kept it moving. So before k can leave, I have to lock up the room that they were using. So as I'm waiting, she comes out and says something to the effect of "you are so rude I can't believe you would have the audacity to just walk in and interrupt their recruiting event". I began to explain that I simply had to give her the envelope since it contained money (another organization was paying their dues for the Greek Union or some **** like that), but she stormed off while I was talking. I sat there perplexed because j genuinely didn't see what I did remotely wrong. The manager who took over shifts after me came and said I could leave so I headed out. I get to my car, make it about two mins off campus, and then I turn my car around.

Long story short, I went back, spazzed and made her feel "accosted". All I remember was telling her "my own mother doesn't talk to me that way, so you sure as hell won't".

Got called into the office the next day... My director (who is a frat brother) fires me saying his hands were tied because apparently the lady was trying to take the matter to the Dean's office. I said I understood and bounced.

I got fired from Circuit City after the Christmas season because we had access to adjusting the prices on open box products. My boy who was working their before me adjusted a price and had me ring up a desktop tower for him. Cant remember the price but it was an HP with the dual core at the time, If the OG price was $450, he made it $150. I come in on my day off to help out and was called to the back room. I was questioned and told them what I knew but they didnt care. Fired me. They did it in such a way that I wasnt even mad. Said some **** like "we have to involuntarily separate you from the company." Never heard it put that way before. I got the last laugh a month or 2 later tho.

I got fired once for doing sonething against company policy that my manager told me to do. I confessed, he denied everything. He is still there. I basically sold a room that wasn't ready to a guest who claimed to only stay for an hour. My manager urged me to sell. The guest came down the next day after I had left to complain to the GM about the room after I had already told them there was a problem with the room and gave a discount.

Got hired 2 weeks later by the same franchise at a better position in a different location.
