Robocop was good but not as good as the original...the og had dat 90s violence lol.

Poltergeist is one that really didnt need to be remade.

Interstellar was the only film last year in the top 10 grossing that was original.

i clearly remember the robocop one was getting good praise before it came out. there were a couple more but i can't pinpoint it at the moment. but hey it's cool. i'm not that mad, studios going to studios

Yeah, I remember people saying how cool his robot suit was looking.

The vids posted about how awesome the violence was was awesome. The scene where Murphy got shot up was brutal.

^ that article is flawed.. Examples they use of 'remakes' aren't really remakes

Mad max is a new movie in the series, not a remake of the '79 mad max.. Ditto Jurassic world

Or nolan's batman's movies.. Not really remakes.. Yes they use the batman character that was used before, but the previous films aren't the basis for the new film





'Carrie' is a remake and an unnecessary one.. Granted that had the potential to be a way better film and follow the book more closely.. But they basically just updated the de Palma film

Or like red dawn, another unnecessary film that was poorly done

...I surf, MTB, alley cat, skateboard and snowboard. Just really into extreme sports, so naturally  I was IN!

I want to hate, but the I can't. No one had a memorable role except Bodhi. And that's mostly because of the stunts.
Remembered when I first saw Fast and the Furious and thought "Point Break ripoff". Now watching this I'm like "Fast and the Furious ripoff of Point Break ripoff".

I watched this with a few people because it was on tv and it was so bad it actually brought us closer together somehow.
The preview said this film was 1 star and i thought to myself "theres no way its ONE star lol"

There was definitely a way.


I wouldnt recommend this to anyone and for those who have not seen it please avoid it.

If i were locked in a room for the rest of my life and there was a flatscreen in it but the only thing you could watch was this movie...i would just close my eyes and use my imagination until i died.

Lmfao what exactly did you hate so much about this flick that you resurrected a dead topic , I saw it a while back and I thought it was OK not anything I'd care to see again but definitely not horrible, and let's be honest here nostalgia aside the original was pretty ridiculous in itself

Yeah man, the movie SUCKED. I dozed off after buddy was deep sea diving after jumping off the yacht. Went right back in the netflix sleeve. Film was choppy, the acting sucked, and was a turd compared to the OG. I wouldn't even waste my time on this film if I was someone considering watching it.

For anyone who hasn't seen the original, WATCH IT.

"Choppy" is an excellent description


It was bad man.

The pacing was terrible. The girl actor was forgettable. Wen she died i was like oh. That picnic scene was cringey. The new bodi was lame. The way they just jumped to the og end like that was cringe worthy. There was a point where one of bodis guys died and it was like not a big deal. The "gary busy" character was cliche and honestly useless. There were parts where people were talking and i was actually paying attention but the acting was so bad i didnt get what they were saying or why.

I would give this a .35 out of 8 and im being generous.


Its almost bad enough to gain a cult following like the Room.

I wanted to like this because of Delroy Lindo & Ray Winstone, but it was meh...

They tried to create another franchise like Fast & Furious but forgot to cast the the right people & come up with a solid script.

I cringed when they tried to recreate the whole Utah letting off his clip in the air as Bohdi gets away....joint was STRUGGLE compared to the OG
