Nike Air Jordan 4 Retro "White/Cement" - The Aftermath - NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING

Exactly  I never asked for his opinion. Me and KidStaten was having a discussion about a flaw I had and here comes this guy going off on a rant about quality. I appreciate he doesn't like the shoe but how many times you going to post the same view over and over again.

Its bizarre. I too appreciate when someone doesn't like something because of quality, but to keep posting in here and telling everyone? Dude truly thinks he's doing a disservice by not telling people.

There are people like this walking amongst you. Its scary

"Waste of your time".

Maybe "others" don't agree with your opinions, or better still, the ones that do didn't bother buy the shoes or subscribe to a thread that has conversations about them.
who said that they have to agree...all that is given is advice nothing more nothing less. Anything else you want to waste my time with...

This is advice or your opinion?

alot of people has kept worst pairs...if it were me ide return it and buy better quality jordans. if you need to have a pair of white cement 4 then keep them and enjoy them...

Did I ask for your advice or your view on quality? Matter of fact, that conversation took place Saturday so what made you feel I needed your guidance 4 days later?
You hate the shoe, I wouldn't ask you anything pertaining to the WC4s.

I looked back and I don't see your name 7onious. I was responding to slayfine about his post that was not specifically directed to anyone specific which means anyone is entitled to answer in anyway...

I thought that was slayfine posting when he took pictures right before yours and he asked for some advice and I still don't see your name 7onious anywhere

Well if people are late to the party asking the same question every page its not that hard to answer back. As long as they don't get fed some BS "live with it" then I don't mind talking about this shoe after all this shoe and colorway is what started my $80K ...

You couldn't see my name huh?
Yes. My post was for slayfine not you. As you can see he took pictures of his shoe and was not happy with the quality and wanted to know if he should return it or not and the response you got from me was for him...my bad...anything else...

View media item 1924698For @hypebeastftwlol here bro, pinnacle 4s with what seems to be real leather. Here enjoy it, stare at the pic, analyze it, look at every pixel of this picture, look at every square centimeter of the shoe and start a thread about how this is the leather that should be on the WCIV

Its funny how this dude talks about "waisting" his time when all he does is post in here.

In before a long explanation about him doing big things and making big money sitting around doing nothing but getting paid, working 60 hours per week and making under 6 figures.

But he doesn't know the difference between waste and waist.
damn...didn’t know there was a spelling police in patrol right .if my job required me to be 100% proficient in my spelling and punctuation ide be broke wearing some j's with some wack material acting like they were the i$$hh$$...

I have no experience with gator, lamb, sheep, snake material...only interested in the material that came with the maroon 6 and supreme 5(white) and not the material that came with these

Every chance you get to mention the material.

if you would let me answer your question the problem for people returning the shoe is the quality...its either they want a shoe that doesnt look like its been used or they have a very defective shoe or they want a shoe that they paid around $250 to have a shoe free from defects....imo..

None of them really look like they've been used. Some have wrinkles in certain parts perhaps due to careless handling or shipping somewhere along the way.

The involvement of traditional European fashion houses with sneakers is a fairly recent thing. I think that what they collectively produce has set really unrealistic expectations for many people on what to expect from regular mainstream sportswear brands. I mention this because of the higher prices. I've seen some comments where people say they would rather spend a little more and buy a limited or high end sneaker. In the mid 2000s Nike put out crocodile/anaconda AF1s for $2k each. It was kind of bizarre seeing uptowns with this leather in NTNY. Even with the quality, they were still uptowns and just put off this "I spent $2k on an $80 shoe because I can" vibe. No matter what they put on an AF1 it's not going to be a dress shoe. Jordans were never meant to be something like that. They had the bin23 series and here you have something trying to be something it's not. Street wear mimicking high fashion. Sneakers have become more & more acceptable in environments in which they were previously disapproved of like jeans made the move from strictly workwear to casual use. Now this is turning into a rant lol. Basically I'm saying Js are what they are. They never were a luxurious, upscale shoe, but rather the most stylish & creative ones to ever be on the hardwood. Yes, QC is better on the originals and you can clearly see that (compare this to the XXX) but at that time there were just a few Jordan releases a year, not one every week or two. You can also debate the change from Taiwan to China. 20-30 years ago most clothing among other stuff was being produced in Hong Kong & Taiwan, territories which arguably have higher standards overall.

I never thought there would be a time when people would be returning pairs of NA WC IVs. Some people are really just nitpicking. I don't know if it's due to no exclusivity due to the large production, low resale value or not really liking the colorway in the first place and buying only because you feel you're supposed to get these as a sneakerhead/Jordan fan. It's not like these shoes are falling apart. I could understand if the wings or heel tab were hanging in the air. Apart from the pairs that had visible pen marks and one that was really wrinkled in the front, all of them look good. There are people who are asking questions to fix things with a "problem" they're not aware of without even having received their pair first. Just put them on and enjoy! If you care more about quality than design there are many high end fashion houses selling shoes with impeccable quality. It's awesome that we get to wear and own a product that was released 27 years ago. They will never be made the same way they were. The price is really the only issue, but if they retailed for $115, $150 or even $180, then maybe many of us wouldn't even have a single pair right now. However if something is limited, or "exclusive" the problem is no longer price, but availability. You have people paying as much or more than an oz. of gold for Kanye shoes with no more than some tightly woven fabric and rubber. Yes "boost technology" but what is anyone using this technology for? Nobody is going to go running in the woods or anywhere with those. I saw an article of a brand new black 350 boost sole falling apart from just running. Now that is a defective product!

THANK YOU!

I'm old enough to have owned the originals. I got 3 pairs of the 2012's because I figured they wouldn't do the shoe right again. Now they get it dang near close to the OGs and people complain. If you don't want yours sell them to someone in here that missed out.

I sure hope the French Blue 12s, Black/Red 12s, and Metallic 5s thread aren't as bad as this one during and after release date.
