Here we go.......Just got back from Footlocker about an hour ago. I had to check out the AJ 2 in hand today. Between this thread, pics online and Youtube videos its all over the board about the quality of these shoes. Some say premium to pretty good to crappy. I was actually anticipating doubling up on this shoe until I got them in hand. I definitely have to bow out on these bro. Nothing to brag about. If anybody on this thread say the material is nice they are lying to themselves. The pics online that surfaced initially were screaming high quality nothing like that in hand. Also light as a feather too another bad sign. Far as Youtube videos go I've only seen 3 people be brutally honest about the shoe quality. Everybody else is in denial, don't know what high quality is, like attention on Youtube and the most obvious reason a kickback. The funny part about all of this is this shoe is $10 less than the AJ XXX.

i agreed just got my pair. definitely disappointed in the quality. At least i paid under retail though.

Yeah from the pics these looked very nice. I thought they were going to be my first pair of 2's. Sadly they were not. I could not find it in myself to buy them when I went to HOH. The one plus side for anyone copping. The insoles are nice and soft. That is the first thing I test for to decide on sizing. Just as soft as the insoles on the 1's. Saved some money missing out on these. With the Master, WC4 and Kobe 11 ASG so close in purchase dates, I need to chill a bit anyway since I am eying kickz on dat GOAT App.

"Wake up"? The guy's comment made it sound like he ordered them after thinking, like you, that they would be high quality, only to realize after they arrived that they weren't (according to him; I haven't seen them in person yet, so I can't comment on it). Maybe I'm misreading his comment, but if not, I don't think it's necessary to take that tone (with a guy who was agreeing with you!). Peace.

Wasn't necessarily directed at anybody in particular but.........If you pay below retail you still don't win if the shoe is crap. Kinda like bragging about losing for less money. Still losing....If you're an AJ 2 fan, willing to look past the poor quality AND willing to cough up $190 or less this is the shoe for you. What I saw and held in my own hands in Footlocker yesterday. $190??? I don't think so....Don't get me wrong now some other retro Jordans also DON'T deserve the $190 price tag either. Those Master 12's that came out have quality issues galore. Wanna see quality bro? Check out the AJ 1 Pinnacle 1 Vachetta Tan & AJ XX9 MTM. And the Jordans that everybody sleeps on are the Mid Nouveau's. The leather on those are better than anything JB has put out in years.
