Just unfogged my retro from 2002 i believe. Kinda scared to wear um since i unfogged them recently and they are over 13 years old so im most likely forced to cop the new retros sooner than later. I really hope the cushioning is as comfortable. These things are a pain size wise tho. If you thought the cb 94 was snug you have no idea lol although these dont have no inner neoprene sleeve so they are much more easy to get in

Since the air max 95 retro this year came with the air max style box these should as well. But you never know with nike

Since they can't use C Webbs logo or his number.
They should put Nike Air where the net and ball is, and an orange vertical swoosh where his number is.

How come they can't use his jersey number? I don't think there is anything that would say no other than it just being a nike decision. It's just a number and we've seen Adidas use the 8 on the now crazy 8s long after Kobe was gone.

They could easily rename them nike air max 2 much which would explain the 2 on the heel tab and design a simple logo with no cw
Kind of like the first retro where instead of the cw logo they put japanese characters instead

That doesn't matter either. It's probably on par with what

said. Heck, reebok and nike both dropped shoes with other sponsored athlete's numbers on them. Reebok did Kobe and lebron I think. Nike did iverson tho the story kinda got them in trouble due to the likeliness stuff... Co 96 back story/sixer colors, 3 got them in trouble.

Nah i just remembered the idiots at nike retroed a garbage looking air max sensation a few years back commemorating the webber draft day trade in orlando magic colors, the team he was drafted by, and the insole had ping pong balls with numbers and the number on the ball of the heel on the insole was 4 and the only number in blue.

the design is not complicated, if they release without the CW and basketball why not just paint it on there yourself? or pay someone to do it

FYI, called my local Finishline last night and was told that they put it on the shelf by mistake and will be released this coming Saturday...
