Memphis need to trade Zach Randolph if they keep Gasol. They need a stretch 4 in order to be a legit threat in the West.

ZBO not knowing how to score with his right hand has Memphis struggling year after year in the Playoffs :smh:

Just another quick not about Enes Kanter.

The pairing of Kanter and Ibaka gave up 110 points per 100.

Also, there really aren't any positive combinations that include Kanter.

I think none, actually.
I want kanter back.. but not at the long term expense of potentially losing adams (who will be 25 by time the 3 year deal I hope we sign him to is up)

Breh the Lakers haven't lost their luster.

They just aren't good right now and their best players aren't really proven.

Therefore, when looking at the Lakers, you could believe in that romanticized luster junk, but it probably boils down to the fact that they simply aren't good right now and in 2015, that matters more to players than the city they are playing in.

Bobby Marks @BobbyMarks42
For IND to sign Monta, the cap hold on D. West (18m) will need to come off. Ellis most likely into room unless a s/t is in play with DAL.

Mike Monroe @Monroe_SA
Straight from Tim Duncan: "I'll be on the court next year" ... story coming soon on SpursNation.com

Thank you.

After season-ending ACL surgery, free agent guard Kendall Marshall tells Yahoo he will be ready for training camp. yhoo.it/1dA7nZv

Frank Madden @brewhoop
Based on $89 million cap, Bucks could have around $31 million in cap space again NEXT summer. Includes cap hold for Henson/1st round pick.

Kirk Goldsberry @kirkgoldsberry
MAX PLAYER UPDATE: Last year 88% of Greg Monroe's shots came within 8 ft. of the rim; he made just 51% of those shots

exactly.

J.Michael (CSN)

The Wizards know already that Durant has them in their top 2 destinations if he leaves OKC. No one can say anything publicly b/c it would result in a massive fine for "tampering." So you plan to land him -- and you always have a plan b, c & d in case you don't -- but the fact is you have your core of Wall, Beal, Porter & Gortat under contract when he's a FA. And you have a massive amount of cash to throw at him. ... The Wizards planned on Ariza returning, he didn't. So Pierce was their Plan B. Not a bad Plan B at all. They got him, benefited greatly from him, didn't tie themselves up long term in the process.

Morning tip: Wizards sacrifice again for Kevin Durant

See the "Derrick Rose Rule"

Basically, you have to make 2 All star games & 2 All NBA teams...or win an MVP before your rookie deal is up and your salary can be 30% of the cap.

Rose & Blake Griffin qualified for this. Ad and Dame haven't yet, but their teams are banking that they will.

I'm curious to see if they somehow don't meet that criteria...will the contract still be honored?

Nah wouldn't be legal. Pretty sure Kyrie just lost a ton of money because he didn't start the AS game.

Does that shot chart take in to account he's playing alongside another guy with range of only 4 ft and no shooters?

Singler put them over the cap.
The plan was always to spend big when Russ and KD were hitting their primes.

Nah, I heard FA's will be back when Lakers are winners again.

It has absolutely nothing to do with Kobe. This is what I heard, anyway.

DeAndre Jordan is in the midst of getting a face-to-face pitch from Phil Jackson and the rest of the Knicks' contingent as we speak

Truly #blessed to live in Los Angeles and own a radio at a time when the Lakers are bad and their front office is embarrassing.
