Plus we all heard this rumor before the draft that Karl wanted Russell for Boogie if a deal was gonna be made. BR is a cesspool.Mark Heisler was the source.
So I'm not trusting this rumor at all.

Tbh the NBA draft is more of a scam than college sports
It's Bleacher Report. That's like listening to the school's janitor for answers on your math test.
It's gotten better, but you need to be careful which info is reported. If you're quoting the more reputable writers like Beck and Zwerling sure, but 90% of the content is generated by some twerp.Bleacher Report is exponentially more credible than it once was. You guys need to stop living in the past.
Pardon me if this picture has been posted before but I've never seen it. That's Arvydas Sabonis to Porzingis' left. Listed as 7'3" when he played Arvydas Sabonis.
@daldridgetnt: An under the radar free agent will be Dallas' Al-Faroqu Aminu. Sked to visit NYK, BOS, POR, TOR & NOP, w/Mavs still in mix.
Oh and btw no surprise that every Laker fan wanted Towns but the poll overwhelmingly favors Russell. No surprise whatsoever
Morey got extremely lucky. If it weren't for the vetoed trade he would've been stuck with Pau and Nene. No Harden. The genius of that guy is extremely overrated.I think you are completely right in that yes, they are different scenarios, but their approaches in accumulating assets is very much the same. Morey just didn't have the freedom to bottom out like Hinkie has.Not sure what your point is. "Morey did it too"? Not exactly. If they aren't the same quality assets you can't expect the same results. Also it's not just collecting (garbage) assets that make me slander hinkle, it's that on top of putting a joke of a product out on the floor. Morey and hinkle can't and shouldn't be compared, totally different scenariosHe inherited a team with more established role players and kept accumulating them to accommodate Yao and T-Mac because his owner wasn't cool with blowing things up like Boston's and Philly's was.
But my point still stands.
Luck played a factor as much as diligent cap maneuvering and reasonable gambles.Morey got extremely lucky. If it weren't for the vetoed trade he would've been stuck with Pau and Nene. No Harden. The genius of that guy is extremely overrated.

kinda serves 'em right"Marc Gasol has no interest in the Lakers because of the uneasy last few years his brother spent with them, according to numerous people familiar with the situation."
We al knew this
kinda serves 'em right
Was very wack how you did @friscostylezFor sure, was very wack how they did Pau.kinda serves 'em right
