Totally kidding SneakerPro, you deserve to vent man.
I always enjoy your insight in reference to your team and all others.

The point of being a fan, is to be objective.

You ride hard for them, but at the same time be critical of them and their moves at times.

I respect @SneakerPro  for that
Plus he's a Lions fan also

he seems very irrational tho....like nothing is ever good enough

with him its either be great or you're bums.... no middle ground...boom or bust

he basically said Cuban hasn't done anything during Dirk's career.... which is absurd when you look around the NBA and the chaos franchises find themselves in...

I like the direction my spurs are going in and I am confuse about the current state of my Portland franchise

Positive enough?

I think Cuban has tried to do a lot for Dirk, but I feel that it has hurt him.

Every 2-3 the whole Mavs roster looks completely different. Then Cuban has a fetish of signing players off the championship squad.

Great franchises (Spurs, Lakers, Heat, etc.) let the core play for extended year, and retool here and there. For the Mavs, players 2-8 change on a consistent bases.

Cuban goes after the BIG FISH so much, that he fails to retain other key pieces.

Wes is a role player on any team in the league though

Young? He's going to be on the wrong side of 30 for the majority of the contract.

Giving max deals to (almost) 30 year old role players coming off major injury is a bad move. Period.

28-32 is still in that prime window

when you don't suffer severe injuries, sure.

He'll be 29 this season, btw.

Throwing 70 mil at a 29 year old non all star coming off an achilles tear is irresponsible, sorry.

feel like im the only Mavs fan that rides for them ...

everyone else act like we the damn Timberwolves

you mean as a franchise? i mean, you won a chip fasho, but the wolves are in much better shape for the future to compete. like, its not eeem close. should've said the hornet or something. in fact wolves would probably wash dallas. dallas as a contender is hella donezo.

that's what I respect about what he's done.... even with the turnaround, the teams have been competitive

he's taken some chances and missed ... but 2 Finals in 10 seasons isn't bad for a revolving door of talent

esp since basically the same 5 teams keep winning the chip

have the Heat really held a core together for 3 plus seasons aside from the Big Three? srs question...

speaking on recent history... during Dirk's career

I just think its hilarious that someone that is a Mavs fan on Niketalk can say me of all people hates the Mavs.

When they **** up they **** up. Ain't no point in sugarcoating it.

We've had a nice run the last 15 but we've failed in every way since the championship.

We finally had the formula and we blew it up to chase dudes that spurned us and ain't emm that good in the first place.

He's just venting [@=/u/72968/011781]@011781[/@], or is he?

Will this go on?

I don't know man....

been waiting for him to say one positive thing about the franchise all day

hasnt come yet

Good job signing that Wes Matthews guy, almost 29 fresh off an achiles athlete to a 4yr, 70 million dollar deal. He's going to make us contenders!

You tried it,
With all due respect though, OKC is about to sign an able bodied 24 yr old that is a big with great footwork, hands, can shoot, and you'd think he was a Wes Matthews coming off of an AT injury at 29.

You can't play that card G
