Chill out bro our Mitch will take towns from you too
LolIs Kobe going to learn play without the ball?
Is Kobe going to learn play without the ball?
Did Morey have a bunch of second rounders and his team looking like a church league squad?
I mean this isn't really a wait and see, withold judgment type of situation. Hinkle has some type of strategy and due to either circumstances or simply a flawed strategy, hasn't been able to execute as planned. It's been 3 years in a row now
ALL OF THIS. I don't know why people don't realize this. Morey was lucky that OKC didn't wanna give Harden max money. No Harder = No Howard. No Harden + no Howard = No playoffs. No way the sixers are bringing in a top 10 guy let alone a top 50 guy with the way things are being run right now.If Morey doesn't luck into Harden, Houston probably looks a lot like Philly right now.
You can hoard all the picks and cap room you want but it doesn't matter if you don't actually draft or sign a star.
A James Harden caliber player is not signing with Philly.
So, Lebum is hoping a bunch of free agents come to CLE and take major pay cuts so he can sign a new contract with hella 0s for himself to try and win a championship?
MJ never did this :\
Can't knock a guy for getting his money but this lol.
As long as Lebron wins a championship nothing else matters
You need a guard to feed him the ball thoughJah getting ROY. We have no other offensive weapon and he's gonna get the touches.
Wouldn't be surprised one bit
Jah getting ROY. We have no other offensive weapon and he's gonna get the touches.
I retract everything I said earlier regarding this incidentI hate to kill the laughs:
You spelled Embiid wrongJah is going to follow in the footsteps of the last great sixers center Andrew Bynum
This I probably true. How long before wiggins can come to LA in free agency?
Do all Laker fans live in a virtual world?
None of you said you would trade two first-round picks for Kevin Durant one year after he won MVP and when his height apparently meant a foot injury would dagger his career, only because others who've been tall have had foot injuries (great logic, and oh by the way, your organization is apparently ready to trade its top-two pick for Demarcus Cousins.... still wouldn't give up two first-round picks for Durant? Do your realize the WHOLE POINT is to get STARS with these top picks??)
And whenever you guys say "How long til he can come to LA?? " I play a great game titled 'When is the last time the Lakers and their big-market appeal signed a big-time free agent?" They traded for Odom. They traded for Pau. They traded for Dwight (who DIPPED the minute he could go elsewhere!), Melo told you no last summer, and now Marc Gasol, today, said, he's 'not interested in L.A. because of the last few uneasy years his brother spent there.'
Son. UNEASY YEARS!
The last time the Lakers signed anything better than a role player was 1996. Since: Rick Fox, Derek Fisher, etc.
D'Angelo Russell should be fine, because it's not as if Byron Scott will micromanage him to a pulp or tear him to shreds during a postgame presser. It's not like Kobe's last year combined with Russell's rookie year will break down Russell mentally by February or anything. It's not like a 19-year-old coming into that situation having played his worst in OSU's most important games shouldn't find success under those conditions in LA.
Gotta say CP got the better of that exchangeJPZ, you call us virtual world dwellers, then mention the Lakers "MIGHT" be willing to trade their picks for Boogie.
Might.
Might.
M. I. G. H. T.
That somehow validates us being stupid for not wanting to trade multiple first round picks for an upcoming free agent we could simply sign and add to said picks. Who's the one virtual living right now?
"Might"
Then you mention role guys since 96. Rick Fox and, Derek Fisher????? We drafted Fish, so I assume you meant when we signed him in 2007.
I guess trades for Glen Rice, Trevor Ariza, Pau Gasol, CP3, Steve Nash, and Dwight Howard don't matter.
Or signing Gary Payton, Karl Malone, Horace Grant, Ron Artest, Matt Barnes.
Or to use your words, we "Might" be signing someone in a few days, and next year too.
As for "not" signing any "big names". Well, last 20 years, how many years were we below the cap to sign anyone?Who could we sign for 20+ mil a year that we didn't already have? Cuz we extended Shaq, Kobe, Pau, Bynum, and LO over that timeframe.
Guess we live in "virtual" worlds where we can't just add free agents on top of all those players and contracts.
But none of that fits your anti Laker fan agenda, so you typed all that nonsense hopin no one would catch on and point out all the flaws in your statement.
You have to have cap room to sign big fish. If you already have them (via any route you get them) all you can do is extend them. Since the day we signed Shaq in 96, we haven't had any season's with unused cap space unless last season.
But hey, don't let facts like those get in your way, right b?
Don't worry, it will all be worth it when we win the chip next yearEveryone is always so mad at us
