And that's why, along w/ other factors, I don't put as much stock into Superbowls as everyone else does. You need so much to go your way just to get there AND to win the whole damn thing that it ends up not being fair grading players/teams strictly on those victories. 

Teams just try to survive and leave it all on the field once they get to that final game. The surviving part comes with too many variables though.

It's not like the NBA where better talent wins out 95% of the time. For the most part, you just need more **** to go your way than the other team. That means good luck too. And hopefully get hot right around this time of the year. 

Yeah, it looks good on the resume. I'll always say it though....body of work (with context) > one game every February.

I can easily see the Broncos struggle badly in this game. I think it just comes down to if Ben can make the throws that Wheaton/Bryant excel at taking deep. Toussaint should have a good game too, showed a lot coming out of the backfield as a receiver last week. I don't see how you can be comfortable as a Denver fan with Manning back there even against a weak pass defense and a hobbled Ben w/o AB.

How??? Pitts def is suspect and you already missing 2 big guys on the offense Brown n Bell plus Big Ben hurt you already how its gonna play out.....Broncos secondary licking they chops and Von Miller it's gonna be a feast. I wished everyone on Pitt was healthy it would of been a great game at Mile High.

Pitt's pass defense is bad. Their run defense is top 5. Only Charcandrick and Forsett went over 100 yards against them all year. So you're basically banking on Peyton, whose accuracy and overall game might be on par with a hobbled Ben, beating that secondary. What has Manning showed that makes people feel confident? How is saying Denver will struggle that far-fetched?
 
Anyone listening to Lebatard and heard the Jay Cutler story?

While in the bathroom taking a leak, a Vandy alum says to him how he's a big fan blah blah blah. Cutler throws his head back and says loudly "I DON'T CARE......" in a annoyed way. Ha ha ha
