I was just answering Tebow's post.  Nothing to do with this Race/privilege discussion.  I already know how it's going to go, so I'm sitting out.

Evidence against him was a wee bit more cut/dry than what supposedly happened between Manziel and his GF.

Greg Hardy was found guilty at the trial stage. The only reason the charges were dropped at the appeal stage was because his victim failed to appear in court and testify. This, of course, was after they reached a civil settlement (he paid her to keep her mouth shut). Oh and last I checked, Greg Hardy is still in the league feasting for the Cowboys. You guys are reaching with these comparisons. Hardy allegedly strangled his girlfriend and threatened to kill her. The only evidence we have of abuse by Manziel is a drunk, angry, white girl yelling that he hit her. You know how many times I've seen my boys' girlfriends drunkenly yell similar **** to a security guard just because they're mad at him for some reason?

I can't say how Manizel is being treated is because of race, when I look around and see Pacman Jones playing, and teams still holding out faith for Josh Gordon & Justin Blackmon. Teams go the extra mile for the players they want to.

Who's holding out hope for Justin Blackmon? I saw at the beginning of the year the Jax. coach was saying he'd be surprised if JB ever plays another down in the league for any team...

I don't see race in the Manziel situation.

Everything that's happened to Manziel since he's stepped into the league has been blown way out of proportion IMO....

That encounter with a fan, willingly checking himself into rehab, and this encounter are all things that happened in his personal life that I don't necessarily look at as negatives. Dudes currently a back-up QB and didn't break any rules or laws, who gives a damn.
 
I've always been confused with how Guion got a slap on the wrist after being caught with possession of firearms, huge bags of weed, and like 300k dollars in cash. Along with absolutely nothing happening to Andrew Quarless who fired a gun at a beach this summer.

Similar situations.

Hardys GF claimed Hardy did all these physical things to her but the police report said she had only minor cuts and bruises.

I dont know if a 300 pound man was doing all the things, she claimed, I would think there would be more than minor bruises.

Hardys GF coked up and hysterical and Hardy was calm and even called the police. His friend told a story exacted the same as Hardy did.

It didnt matter..his GFs story was believed.

Dougernaut is mad cool. My favorite was Martin Scoreseasy. His teammates said that his rookie year. Thought it was genius.
