OFFICIAL 2015 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

I did a mock with my first 3 picks being LeVeon, Megatron and Evans. Needless to say, I'd be ecstatic if that happened on draft day.

Evans did really well with no one last year, if Jimbo is just half good, Evans should eat.

did a mock from the 3 spot in a 10 team league

don't know my pick until Aug. 1 but i'm hoping i get #3...went AP, Julio in the late 2nd, then grabbed Hill with the early 3rd rounder

What's ur top 5 overall?
As of today, standard formats: Peterson, Charles, Bell, Lacy, Lynch. PPR formats: Peterson, Bell, Charles, Antonio Brown, split on Lacy and D.T.

Would you guys still keep Beckham over Julio?
I would still take OBJ over Julio, by a slight margin.

Is AP the undeniable #1 pick?
"Undeniable" is a strong word, but he's #1 on both my standard and PPR boards at the moment. He's a sure bet for double-digit rushing TD, extremely motivated, Teddy will improve in his second year as starting QB, and lastly the Vikes have an assortment of offensive weapons including CP, Wallace, Diggs, and Charles Johnson.

For me, Bell jumps over AP in PPR formats for sure if his suspension is reduced by a game (or even two).

Going against conventional wisdom, would y'all go WR/WR with the 1st two picks (11 and 14) if there were 2 available from this group: Dez, Megatron, Beckham, Julio, AJ Green, Jordy.

Possible running backs I'd be looking at are Forte, McCoy, Murray, CJ Anderson and Hill.

With picks 35 and 38, I'd be looking at running backs like Jonathan Stewart, Carlos Hyde, Lamar Miller, Melvin Gordon, Joique Bell, Latavius Murray, Andre Ellington.
Absolutely if you play a PPR format. The difficult choice will be narrowing down which two WR's you select in that draft scenario. Not much separation between the six names you listed.

Perhaps too early for Hill at #11 or #14 overall. I would say the same for Anderson, although some experts would disagree. Forte is the most tempting, given Murray's switch in offensive lines and injury history plus McCoy seemingly destined for decline in Buffalo.

I would almost certainly go WR at #11 given the potential player options you specifically listed. Again, even more so if you play PPR.

Who are the RBs to avoid
C.J. Anderson's ADP is far too high for my taste.

Also avoiding Lamar Miller, Jonathan Stewart, and Latavius Murray.

Where do you guys see L.Bell being drafted?
Depends largely on how many games his suspension is reduced. Anything outside the top-5 is tremendous value in my opinion, more so in PPR formats. He's the sole challenger to AP on all my draft boards.

What about in standard formats on the WR/WR question? Would it be better to grab one of those receivers along with Hill or Ingram and stay away from McCoy and Murray?

How did you even end up with Julio and AP?

That's why I don't mock

Isn't Julio 1/2 receiver?

In a 10 team standard league that's possible with the #1 pick overall

If not Julio, then one of Jordy, AJ Green or Jeffrey would most likely be available

Yea jus did a mock and it's entirely possible from the 8 spot 10 teams ended with

Killa Cam

OBJ
Mike Evans
Martavius Bryant

Shady Mccoy
Melvin Gordon

Z ertz

And off the bench I had Vincent jackson
amer abdullah, vereen

Still working on this year's strategy. Only done 2 mocks and the first one I took bell then Forte but that handicapped my receivers pretty badly. I think I'd rather gamble on some talented rookie runners then the 8th rd and beyond wr options

A dude I'm loving ****** this season that's not being talked about much is Martavias Bryant. I think he has a huge year

My Avoid List

Jonathan Stewart
Andre Ellington (injuries)
Justin Forsett (just rather not)
Arian Foster (injury headache)
Alfred Morris (not touching anyone from that franchise)
Every Eagles and Patriots RB (coaching headache)
Joique Bell (rather be safe just in case he loses snaps)
DMC (injuries)
Rashad Jennings (just not interested)
Isaiah Crowell (think he loses that job eventually)
Doug Martin (terrycloth)
I'm not a fan of grabbing CJ Anderson either, just rather err on the side of caution with him and every Broncos player. Could work, but rather it works without me.

WR
Not interest in spending a high pick on Demaryius Thomas, dont trust Peyton Manning’s weakening arm
Same with Emmanuel Sanders
Desean Jackson (want no one from that team)
Vincent Jackson (rather Mike Evans)
No one on the Jets
Brandon LaFell
Rowdy White
No 49ers receivers Torrey Smith, Boldin, pass
Cardinals receivers

TE
Jordan Reed (that team plus injury prone)
Jordan Cameron (one concussion away from retirement)
Kyle Rudolph perennial dissapointment

QB
Brees (older, weakening arm, no receivers)
Kap (obvious)
Andy Dalton (solid but not flashy enough)
RG3 no one from that team
Peyton works works without me

Ellington is solid if he's there in the later rounds.

I'm not convinced Duke Johnson is a 3 down back for Crowell to lose the job.

I think DT will be solid. They're probably going more run this year but I think he's still good for 1200+ yards. Also keep in mind JT is gone so some of the TDs that went to him might go to DT. But he's near the bottom of the top tier WRs that I would take.

Word outta steeler camp is he's a poor man's randy moss. Anyone big enough to cover him isn't fast enough too. We saw the flashes last year. I'm all in on him though

Martavis said he's down to 4% body fat...isn't that kinda unhealthy for what he does?

Good question. Eddie George used to get down under 5 n 6% body fat and had to eat power bars n ish between quarters. Dude is ripped. He's gunna be a savage. No more jams off the line this year

Agreed on most as they are "dead to me" but...

- Forsett should have a solid strong year in that new offensive system
- Foster, when healthy, is as sure thing of an RB as there is. Hard to trust but the gamble when he is on pays off
- I think we have to wait till the middle of training camp, Doug Martin could be one of those guys everyone forgot about that will still put up #s in that new offense
- Don't count out Brees, sure he may not have the same weapons, but the Saints throw. Always. They have been top 7 in passes since Brees has been on the year.

Yeah Bryant was twig to begin with. Saw a pic of him arriving at camp and he looks actually brolic. He's gonna EAT. I'm praying guys in my league overlooks him.

I'm thinking 3rd round pick at the LEAST?

another guy to actually watch in preseason games. with everyone focusing on Bell and Brown...Bryant could have a sneaky 900 yd 9 TD season

WR3 with WR2 upside

Steelers are making it known that they want to score tons of pts this season
