OFFICIAL 2015 FANTASY FOOTBALL THREAD

How do you guys feel about Andre Johnson against Buffalo D? Yeah theyre D is good but Luck is more than good enough to get his tallest receiver some good throws ... right?

Start Dre, like you said Luck is good too lol

IMO It's the first game of the season, don't overthink things. Worry about matchups later in the season

Thats true. Ive been tellin myself that its only week 1 but its hard lol

Me finishing in the bottom 4? Ouchhhhh.... Yes I'm the guy that picked the Seahawks with my 2nd pick. Here's my post from earlier in case you missed it.

ok people I'm back. Yes me, the crazy drugged up guy that decided to draft a tight end at #1 overall & followed up by drafting a defense second in my ESPN league. Here's my roster for that league. This is a league of 12.

Cam Newton
Jonathan Stewart
Isaiah Crowell
Mike Evans
Sammy Watkins
Rob Gronk
Torrey Smith
Seahawks defense
Mason Crosby
Teddy Bridgewater
Andre Williams
Ryan Mathews
Brian Quick
Markus Wheaton
Coby Fleener

Taking Gronk in the first is not an issue, had I got a backend 1st round pick I would've taken him myself in the first. But in all my leagues I just happened to land a top 6 pick and I couldn't justify taking him that high.

So that's not the issue, a lot of people took Gronk in the first.

There's just no way you can justify taking Seattle in the first. As great as they are you could've waited 'til like round 9 to have taken them.

Your first 5-6 picks are your foundation picks, and a D/ST will never average enough points on a weekly basis to justify as a foundation pick, not even Seattle.

That said I won't be so critical of your team as to pigeonhole you as a bottom four squad. If you are patient and build waiver priority, address deficiencies along the way and have a little bit of luck even you can make the playoffs with that team. Gronk, Mike Evans, J-Stew and Sammy Watkins are all nice players. So you have a little something to build on. You just have to be proactive and read the tea leaves. That means while you're building waiver priority to land the hottest wire pick up of the year, you're picking up other potential lotto tickets along the way. If you're savvy, you could potentially get yourself a nice piece before the herd catches on.

If you don't do this, you will undoubtedly be a bottom-four squad.

I have Luck and keep thinking about how they shut down Rodgers last year

I would start Dre every week

I think he is going to have a better year than Hilton

Woke up this morning with my jimmies still rustled over Brown's garbage time TD.

The fantasy football season is officially back

Ended up drafting Brady in the 9th or 10th round in one of my leagues, before the decision was made :smokin ... Now I'm trying to sell high like I drafted him with my 1st pick

Just noticed I have 3 rookies (Gordon, Yeldon, and Abdullah) on another one of my teams, at least 1 of them becomes a consistent RB2 right? :nerd: ... I have Ellington too but his healthy worries me.

I got Michael Floyd and Cecil shorts

If anything I'd play jones over them since he could probably do something

Mike Evans man :smh:

Might have to play James jones

Chill bruh, let's see what happens

Evans (hamstring) took the field for Friday's practice, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Spin: Evans and the rest of his teammates participated only in a walkthrough Friday, but his presence on the field after two days without practice improves his chances of being ready for Week 1. The Buccaneers will provide an official update on Evans' status when they release their final injury report of the week Friday afternoon.

Jones shouldn't be a terrible play. Again, while I think Adams will outproduce Jones, I'm not convinced that there will be a steep disparity.

They're essentially the same player. In fact I think Jones has better hands.

Because his league is full of good QBs, RBs & WRs that can be picked up towards the middle of the draft process. Can you say the same for the tight end and defensive spots?

There's not a lot of TE's in the league that will have the ball thrown their way like Gronk.

There's not a lot of defenses that will be able to do what the Seahawks do every single week.

For all of yall saying it was a stupid decision or that my team is trash, well we will just have to sit back and see what happens. *cracks knuckles*
LMAO, your team aint making it far bruh.

You should worry about Buffalo's Defense now.  Never too early to worry about matchups.

If you have no options, then start Dre.

Y'all forgot the Bills beat down Aaron Rodgers last year?  That Defense is tough.  And is returning almost everyone.

I'm big on Dre this season. Week in and week out, he will be starting for me. He's that big, move-the-chains, reliable target Luck has needed for awhile. TY is great, but he never had a real complement. TY and Andre fit together nicely and with the volume of passing the Colts will do makes Andre a likely candidate for breakout season (for someone in their twilight).
