Asian Culture Discussion Thread

I'm 27 and I haven't aged since 21/22. I look like I'm in my mid 20s if I grow out my struggle patchy beard, but then I also look homeless.

Went to one of those conveyor belt sushi spots the other day. Best place to satisfy near starvation level hunger.. don't even care if that piece of sushi has been rotating all day

There's positives and negatives of looking young. I feel that many of my white clients don't take me seriously because I look like a fresh graduate that doesn't know anything. You wouldn't believe how many debates I've gotten into because of them trying to prove me wrong and citing their 3 months of accounting classes, when I've been doing this for almost 5 years now :smh:

I didn't have this issue at my last job, because my boss and the rest of my coworkers were Asian. Of course, most of my coworkers were also decent looking women, so no one ever challenged them in anything regardless of how old they looked

My friends and I hit up those "All you can eat and all you can drink" sushi spots for $35 a head. I went to one on Sunday and still have zero appetite today  Been drinking Ensure shakes to keep my calories up the past 2 days.

You're Filipino right? Definitely racist  :smh:

I've never seen any Filipino person in my life and thought "that person looks like an anime character". Even 99.9% of Japanese people in general look nothing like anime characters unless they wear strange makeup/get surgery

I miss AYCE Sushi.

Wish they had spots like that in DC.

My genes are whack. I am going to be 36 in a couple of months and I swear people think I look 39 or something. Last 5 years have been brutal. My only saving grace is I am not fat, but I've weighed 145 most of my life and weight 170 now. I hope I'll have my second wind in my 40s. So when I am 40 something years old, people will still think I look 39. What a horrible way to think the glass is half full.
