^ Yea, I have friends who are illegal immigrants with strong Catholic backgrounds. And know other illegal immigrants. They work at restaurants, they work at gas stations to wash peoples' cars.

M mr highness I'm sorry my parents left their war stricken country in the 80s because the process to come legally to the states would have taken so long that they would have either been killed or forcefully signed up to fight in the militia. I'll make sure to remind them that their efforts to leave family behind to persue a better future for their offspring by working multiple jobs with no benefits and still paying taxes (they obtained Tax IDs to make sure they did the right thing) make them equivalent to all of the rapists and murders you and Trump believe are coming over the border.

It took my parents 10 years to get a green card in the States after going to the correct process, paying all of their taxes and paying tons of immigration lawyers. During this time they missed their parents death's as they could not travel outside the country as well as countless other moments. I hope one day you can truly reconsider your stance on all of this and understand that this is not as black and white as you make it out to be. I can agree that we may not have the capacity to accommodate everyone coming into the states, we still need to provide people with efficient and effective methods to immigrate into this country. Just because someone had the misfortune of being born outside of the United States doesn't mean that they should be denied an opportunity to improve themselves.

Lastly please understand that this is more than just an issue of logic, a huge contributing factor for people coming to the States is to provide their loved ones with a better life. I'm quite certain you would do whatever it would take, even immigrate illegally into a country, just for an opportunity to provide them with basic necessities.

First off, I'm talking about this current time. Right now, it's getting worst and worst. Back then, it wasn't as severe because America was still growing. Now days, illegal immigrants want to come for hand outs. Your parents didn't come for hand outs. Back then, I assume, crime wasn't high for illegal immigrants. Also, wasn't there amnesty from Reagan in 1986?

Amnesty granted only to those in the States prior to '82. Parents came after that
