Supreme x Air Jordan Retro V (White, Black, and Desert Camo)

$425 for a camo size 10 shipped to Canada

should i jump on it?

If they're legit it's a great deal but why risk it? Just add a bill more and do a local purchase. At least you can check if they're legit before paying.

I'd rather pay more and have the peace of mind that the pair I'm purchasing is real than saving a bill and not sure if they're legit.

But it's up to you if you can risk $425

Good luck

they already got em

I've worked as an auditor for a big 4 firm and have a job lined up at the CME, so i am a business major. 10% interest on an investment is a good return, so that $450 would turn into 495, then the second year add 545. Sure, could take that money and put it in yeezys, but I think as someone already pointed out, if you seriously need the money for the next flip, you're in the wrong business. The "smart business move" would be to hang onto these and buy the yeezys and make good returns on them both. It's not, or shouldn't be, one or the other

i feel like a major douche acting as if this is a buisness, but to say it's the "smart business move" to sell these now is just wrong, unless of course all you have is the money for one release. To bring up the "time value of money" as to why you'd take the $450 now just doesn't make sense to me, but I do have enough in the bank to buy multiple releases, so maybe that's why.

also, i should note, I don't flip anything. I buy shoes to enjoy them, but, as a "businessman", i couldn't keep my mouth shut seeing someone throw around the time value of money and why it's smart to flip these fast... it's not.
Another Big 4 auditor checking in here.

I flip a lot of shoes, and my usual method is to flip them as soon as possible. However, this talk makes sense, IF the shoes will indeed increase in value. Sitting on the shoes and you may be running into the shoes prices dipping lower than initial resale or prices not even increasing much.

I like your 10% required rate of return since that's usually the benchmark for a good ROI. However, realistically, there's probably tax implications for that, making the 10% less depending on your marginal tax rate. So there definitely is a benefit to holding on them, but the risk is the price of the shoes dipping.

Also, I believe we're in a sneaker bubble, although it has shown signs of slowing down. If you can believe there is a sneaker bubble, then you know they always pop. You don't want to get caught with stuff no one wants. Think Pokemon cards and Beanie Babies.

I'm in Canada and I already tried locally and the next province over and there's nothing. If people didn't get them through Supreme already, NDC is more difficult since they don't ship to Canada.

The further and further we get away from the initial release I believe the most sought after pair will be the Camos. As many others have stated it's completely unique not just within this set but also for a Jordan model of any number. It already is/will be an iconic Jordan collaboration.

Also this guy princetyler11 princetyler11 knows what he's talking about and is completely on the mark. In 1 year (or less) all 3 pairs individually will be clearing 1K easy.

I dont care what anyone says, NOTHING CAN MATCH IF YOU'RE BUYING MULTIPLES.

now any info you used on that cancelled pair is banned (besides name)
both of my pairs shipped
same shipping and billing address, same name, different payment methods, different emails

Good luck, but I had OVOs and olive Foams cancelled on me for shipping to the same address. They were with different cards and different emails. It had never happened to me before the OVOs.

Well I disagree. I don't think waiting 2 years to make an extra 2 to 3 hundred is worth it.
Did I say YOU kill the market? I said people like you. Point is, the market is lower because people like you look for a quick flip and list below what they should be and because of that, everyone rushes to lower their prices.

And you clearly said I "needed" the money meaning you have other priorities, not to "invest" in other things.
Well it doesn't seem like the majority of people are going to stop selling for the lower price to get a quick flip anytime soon so I'm just going with the flow of the market.

Yea I did need the money to fix my car I need 2 new tires and they're like 400 bucks. Me saying I could use that $450 to reinvest in yeezy boosts was an example.
Sorry for coming off as a prick in my my initial post. After I reread it, i came off in a way i wouldn't want to, lol.

Honestly, the $200 wouldn't really be worth it to me either. all i meant was i thought the actual "time value" reasoning wasn't a good example. If you have your car to fix, then obviously that's more important than the 200. paying for your car to get fixed with 5 mins of work is way better than working 20 hours. Also, selling at a reasonable price is a lot more moral to me. If I wouldn't have gotten lucky on the NL drop, I'd be pumped people were letting them go for around 400.

Sorry again for coming off like a prick. I guess i got sensitive when that other kid said "must not be a business major" or w/e, which is pretty lame. hope my rep will make up for it

Not gonna lie though... Having a blast  messing with some of the resellers, some of them are sounding way too desperate. Especially with the clothes.

Yeah i have noticed  some of the resellers   and  some of them talk about how broke they are....  but they spent their whole paycheck on ATC and BOTS  for supreme....

Hahahaha YES! I have had multiple sellers tell me "come on man, gotta make at least double on the shoes and pay for the bots."

Buyers market = Retail......paying 250 more than retail isn't a deal.....rich people problems I guess....must be nice lol
Come on bro you know damn well nobody is paying retail for anything of this magnitude, but it is great when you miss out on such a hyped release and only have to shell out a couple bills (if that). I would say it's a buyers market atm.

Buyers market  has never meant  = to retail. If you get any shoe that's not a GR  and  still make $100-200 thats considered a buyers market.

Question re: the shirts... I believe these are technically made by JB, does that mean they run big? Trying to see if I should do a Medium or a Large.

I don't have one but I  think i saw someone say  they run they same sizes as most JB shirts
Can't remember the last time I bought a JB shirt, gonna have to dig one up... If I remember correctly they run a little big right?

I feel you on that part ....I was that way when I had no bills back then it was just 50 to 100 over ....I know how to take an L or wait it out now....I feel if u really want the shoe not getting it on release day don't mean much.... all of the "hyped up" releases that I wanted I got for retail on restocks some online some vacationing at the right place at the right time.....
