IL Woman Found Dead in TX Jail vol. #WhatHappenedToSandraBland

The more I read about this, the more nothing adds up. If she actually did have PTSD and was depressed and killed herself, then it is what it is, and the Devil's Advocate Crew finally has a win. But nothing I've read nor seen leads me to believe that. What person getting a new job and in a new city is killing themselves right after? The smear campaign of bringing up past run-ins with the law has kicked into gear as well. Can always count on that whether black folks are guilty or not.

Can't really trust police investigating their own either.

So she suffocated herself?

Had to have been the strongest trash bag known to man for her to hang herself with.

what type of prior run ins did she have? minor offenses? Of course that holds little value imo but the media is going to take it as she was violent and aggressive.

I'm not buying the depression or ptsd loop at all, it's all bs, I really have a feeling the officers roughed her up or were too aggressive with her in the cell on her release day. Same way they killed that former veteran who had a heart condition.

i'm telling y'all waller county ain't no joke...straight up racist county...just ask students that go to Praire View A&M...

this was in the news last year...

With Waller County growth comes need for hate crime resources

MyFoxHouston - With some major efforts underway, the District Attorney's Office is working to stomp out the hate in Waller County.

County officials say that with the growth they are now seeing, they expect more diversity. Because of that, they're now preparing to take on those who target people who are different. Part of that effort includes a hotline and law enforcement officers who are trained to deal with the issue.

Warren Diepraam with the Waller County District Attorney's office says the program will be off the ground and running by mid-December.

what kinda backwoods jail is this?

she got caught up in a sundown town?
She graduated from PV( black college in Waller County).
The areas that surround it give you that feeling you are in sundown towns. You have to drive through some shady spots getting to Austin(which is in the same path).
Only drive during the daytime when I go see the in laws or I take the bacK way to Austin.
RIP to that sista[emoji]128591[/emoji][emoji]127999[/emoji]

It'll never be.

We're trying to integrate into a burning house....

These white people dont want us here at all bruh. At least the ones that matter.

And that's all that DOES matter.

Use to try to give the benefit of the doubt.. I've already had enough.

Minor traffic offenses and weed possession.

This is al crazy. I would have thought years ago when social media really started to become rampant that these types of incidents would be eliminated because of the fear of being "caught on tape"

Years later I'm left smh because its STILL happening and i feel like we as citizens are STILL a step behind.

Thing is, these cops don't care because they know the system will back them. There's still a very large portion of this country that is going to jump on the government/police's side before even hearing anything about the situation. "I'm sure they did SOMETHING." "If it wasn't this, then they've probably done something else" "It was self defense!" "Cops don' shoot people for no reason"

I try to avoid jumping to conclusions. Try to be as objective as possible, give everyone the benefit of the doubt and see a situation as it truly is.

With that being said, something funky here and it smells like pork. These rotten ************* probably lost their cool and killed her when she gave them a piece of her mind.

ha...this is the jail...

Who wouldn't be man? Imagine the fear you would feel knowing these pigs can kill you at any moment and possibly get away with it. That **** is frightening.

When will enough be enough? :smh:

Not until these ******* cops start getting picked off one by one. Or, if that is too civil, take it out on their family members the way they do ours.

So she suffocated herself?

Had to have been the strongest trash bag known to man for her to hang herself with.

So it went from hanging, to suffocating herself with a trash bag? Really?

Minor traffic offenses and weed possession.

Oh brother :rolleyes. Weed and black is all they need to justify the outcome.

Man it just feels like this story is moving at such a rapid pace. Im like literally trying to figure out how it went to all this after a traffic stop...

I bet right now if there is any wrong doings they are trying to get their story straight, first 48...

Pretty much. Since I have the paper back in front of me now, it was a DUI, DWI (dismissed), seatbelt violation and served 30 days in jail for the weed. So...this person is getting sntached up like she has 6 wanted stars for offences like those???

It first was being reported as suicidal hanging. now it's suicidal suffocation from a trash bag? doesn't make sense.

Didn't hear about the trash bag...starting to become ridiculous

Why was she still in jail? and how long does it take for a bail hearing?

Did she get a phone call? and who did she call?

That's that BS they try to hit you with when you are the unfortunate winner of a DWB pullover.

That or they just give you a warning ticket when they run your ID and see you have no record nor arrest warrants.

:nerd:

Dragged out of her car window for failure to signal essentially. crazy :smh: .

Saw earlier on the news that the police officers said she was resisting arrest, which lead to her arrest. They're going for the angry black woman narrative.

Always an easy excuse for cops

When will enough be enough? :smh:

Did she get a phone call? and who did she call?

She talked to her sister. Her bail was set at $5k but w/ a bondsman, she only had to pay 10% of that. Her sister was working on getting the money.

They checked on her at 7am, gave her food at 8am, then she was found around 9am according to reports.

Question I don't think has been asked is, how did she get the bag? They say she hung herself w/ the bag, how did she get it?

People are talking about her comments about PTSD from 4 months ago, a lot can change in 4 months.

supposedly trash bags are common in that jail...supposedly they are supposed to clean every day that they are there...doesn't sound right to me...

Trash bags are strong enough to carry someones weight if you twist it, assuming its those black trashbags. You could easily hang yourself with one of those.
