NETFLIX-Narcos '17- Season 3 trailer up

Yeah. It takes a different kind of sociopath to blow up a plane... Especially when there's only one target. :smh:

****** up thing is the intended victim didn't eem board. :smh:

Seriously....this dude is a savage. I understand you gotta do what you gotta do, but thats so much innocent people...
Esco was worth 30 billion, you're imagination is unlocked and running at "unlimited" at that point.

Like any man, woman, or animal when you're cornered or push to the edge you're going to react.

(In his case it was cut off the head of the snake no matter how many times it grows back)

The only thing that bothers me about the show is the fact that its being told from the point of view from the DEA agent.

Wish they had a diary or any kind of auto biography from esco to get his pov on everything that went down.

Aside from that, Great show. Great actors. No complaints just waiting on season 2.

Some of that cash gotta still be out there :nerd:
Probably so. But if it isn't rotten the bills are probably old and discontinued. Can't really spend it. Old money gets destroyed and replaced with newer bills. If I saw a small faced 100 in 2015 I would be shocked.

just finished the series. pablo was a savage :smh:

hate my dude gustavo had to get got like that :smh:

i didn't get a chance to rewatch the last episode, but was it pena who gave up murphy's pictures to the informant with the cali cartel? was that the trade off needed to learn that pablo killed the 2 stand ins for his empire?

I think it was similar to that, they reported it as a shooting but it was obvious Gustavo had been badly beaten when they found him dead

Completely forgot Carrillo put a clip in him after the fact. I guess that would explain the fact that it was reported a shootout if that was indeed how it went down.

kind of confused...

1 ) In the ESPN broadcast 30 for 30 (2010), a series of sports-themed documentaries timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Entertainment and Sports Network, The Two Escobars, by directors Jeff and Michael Zimbalist, looks back at Colombia's World Cup run in 1994 and the relationship of sports and the country's criminal gangs—notably the Medellín narcotics cartel run by Escobar. The other Escobar in the film title refers to former Colombian National Team defender Andrés Escobar (no relation to Pablo), who was shot and killed one month after an own goal that cost Colombia in the 1994 FIFA World Cup.[51]

2) The war against Pablo Escobar ended on December 2, 1993; amid another attempt to elude the Search Bloc. Using radio triangulation technology, a Colombian electronic surveillance team, led by Brigadier Hugo Martínez,[24] found him hiding in a middle-class barrio in Medellín. With authorities closing in, a firefight with Escobar and his bodyguard, Alvaro de Jesús Agudelo (a.k.a. "El Limón"), ensued.

how is escobar alive in 1994 if he was killed in 1993?

The world cup was in 94 and that doc talks a lot about the lead up to that. Also, if you've seen the doc they talk about how he may not have been killed had escobar still been alive and running things.

Nobody would have touched Andres, as besides being part of the Colombian team, e also played in the Atletico Nacional, one of Medellins teams which was owned by Pablo.

Someone probably lost big money in that World Cup game, they told Andres to lay low, but he got caught slipping, really sad story..

great show, was glued to every episode. the fact that its based on true events makes it that much better. great cast and writing. if they were planning on doing 2 seasons i wish they slowed things down a bit and got more into his empire expanding.

the only knowledge i had of escobar prior to this was from that 30 for 30 and of course entourage

Gustavo was a G
I liked pena a lot too but damn he sold his homeboy out

Finally got to starting this on Sunday night. Up to episode 4, I'm a fan. Very entertaining and I like the feel of Murphy's narration.

Pablo and his boys are savages :x :pimp: .

Oberyn from GoT out there doing his thing against the cartel with Murphy  .

Getting annoyed when the show exaggerates some scenes. The way the series is going, they're gonna have the two American detectives get Pablo.

Can't wait for my trip. I'm headed to Medellin in November. I plan to take the Escobar Tour, I'll post some pics once I come back.
