Here's a thankless job that DESERVES every dollar of your tip....

How can you dudes love with yourselves?

Yall can't spare and extra three bucks for the dude drying your car?

Its his employer's responsibility to make sure he's getting paid.

I also don't spare an extra three bucks for the dude delivering my mail

I also don't spare an extra three bucks for the dude grabbing me shoes to try on from the back

I also don't spare an extra three bucks for the dude who installed a new audio system in my car

Yall the same democrats that complain about the people with money wanting to keep all of it and out here complaining when the govt tries to get rid of certain programs.

But you out here talking bout you don't want to tip a person making less than minimum wage trying to make their way in this country.

It's like you only want to help the lower class when you're on the benefitting side of it...

Just because you have money to spare because you opted for a CLA-2500 doesn't mean the rest of us have to adhere to your ideals.

U tipped them cause it's hot and they washed ur car????
If they're so hot why not just spray water on themselves
That will def cool them down
Besides all that fresh air they have working outside
Seems like they winning to me
Don't understand why they needed a tip
Didn't go over and beyond in my opinion
Just doing what's expected

:pimp:

At what temperature is it ok not to tip them? A brisk 82 and its all good? At what temp does the tipping begin?

I am also curious :nerd:

:smh:

Maybe I should get a PS4, my squad outchea looking suspect

Phil spencer doenst tip based on climate either :nerd:

Of course I tip my barber.

What's the difference between your barber and dude drying your car?

Your barber charges a fixed price for a cut. He cuts your hair as well as any other time. Why throw him a couple more? Isn't that his job?

Thought it was universally known that tipping service industry worked was a common practice. Funny thing is all the non tippers would complain if they were on the other side and got stiffed.

I tip based on the quality of service tho, not on any percentages and definitely don't factor in weather. I also buy my mailman and garbage man christmas presents.

My general rule is I tip for services that I pay for, not products.

The dude who grabs the shoes from the back for me ain't getting anything, I'm paying for the shoes not his service/skill. My barber is getting money bc he provides a service. The postman ain't getting anything bc I didn't pay him for anything. He can have 100% of zero. I don't pay the bathroom attendant bc I didn't solicit his services.

I guess the exception is a waiter/waitress.

I'll also throw someone some cash if they go above and beyond for me, even if it's a "non-tipping" job. Like homie who made me a a batch of customer t-shirts within an hour when the usual wait time is a day. Homie told me he can't accept tips, which I respect the honesty. So I just left the money on the counter and left.

What about people who keeps buildings clean and **** like that? Is that not a service?

I'm not these ppl but you're ignoring some of the logic here.

If those democrats got what they wanted and the ppl with money started coughing up more cash there'd be even less reason to tip because the ppl making less than min wage would be getting paid more.

That last statement is even more telling, you want the lower class to start giving up money to the even lower class?

No I wouldn't. I'd quit my job, go back to school or take online courses so I could pursue a better paying job.

If you knowingly accept a job that pays you less than min wage, you're basically agreeing that the work you're doing is valued at less than min wage. If you do any job expecting to get extra money because you did what you were suppose to do you gotta ****** up world view.

Nope. But I also don't have housekeeping come during my visit to a hotel.....But during the few instances I've had a maid clean out the room I leave a tip.

If I were to hire a maid for the house yes, bc I'm paying for the labor, not the room itself.

Hate how tipping should be expected from people. I have a *****, low-paying job yet I don't get, or ask, for tips. Why is it ok for one job and not the other?
If you don't want to pay for a service, don't use that service. As for your low-paying job, you didn't say what it is, but I'm guessing it doesn't involve service.

The whole reason anyone works these types of jobs is the incentive of making tips. No one is going to work these type of jobs for minimum wage.

We are paying for a service. The tip is optional on top of what you pay for the service and shouldn't be expected.

Besides, touch less car wash for $5 with free vacuum >>>

i refuse to pay for a car wash

why pay for something you can do yourself and do a better job than the machines

only takes like 20 minutes of your time
