Homeless dudes

Ish I never understood was homeless able bodied white people. Wasting that white privilege

I see this young skinny "homeless" white girl on my way home from work on the exit ramp with a cardboard sign looking for change. I suspect she is an addict and i'm not about to support that habit.

She is not disabled and she can use her white privilege to get a job easily if she wanted to work

well damn

I lived in Houston last year and noticed the exact same thing. It was sad. I've seen entire families sitting on the grass as you pull into Walmart.

THEE CREEPIEST MESS I'VE EVER SEEN was a dude with no arms and a bucket strapped over his shoulder walk up to cars that are at a light, basically lean over the windshield, and do this little shimmy dance until they gave him something. Mess was disturbing.

this __ burns me up inside >:

and dude w/ no arms and a bucket used to post up around the corner from where I used to stay, haven't seen him in a while tho

Pinch your nose & use her worthless body as a fleshlight.

Co-worker of mine came back from Hawaii a few days ago basically glad she left because of this...

Is it long time residents of hawaii that are being priced out of living?  Drugs running rampant and ruining lives?

What's going on out there?
both of those plus we get all the mainland people that come here because the weather is decent all year and the people are generally more compassionate and tolerant. it's out of control here on oahu.

Here in Nashville they outlawed panhandling and it was the best thing they ever could have done.
As a result a church came up with the idea of starting a "homeless newspaper" as a means for the homeless to make money.

They pay $ .15 a piece for the paper and usually sell them for $1 dollar.
The paper features stories about the homeless and their issues.

It has really cut down on the amount of times I hear "Excuse me, I dont mean no harm but..."

I never give them anything. I get up & go to work everyday, why can't they? I feel like all the money they make daily they could easily stack up and turn their lives around if they so choose.

It's not as bad as it used to be in Pittsburgh. One dude asked me for some change one time, I told him I didn't have it. When I passed him again after getting Chipotle for the fam, he asked again. He told me he had kids to support, I'm like "N_ SO DO I! But I go to work to support mine." he looked at me as if he knew I was right and kept quiet.

Another dude asked me for change wearing some fresh white on white Forces

But I never understood the concept of panhandling. My pride won't let me do it, hell, my pride won't let me fundraise for my daughter's cheerleading, rather pay the amount out of pocket. If you're able bodied, then get out there and get a gig. If you have a mental health issue (which substance abuse can be a part of) then get help.

Bruh went to college in Philly (drexel) and live in baltimore.

I have a policy to never give homeless people anything because i don't' know who to give it too if i even wanted to. Every day i walk to my gym i get asked at least 1 time. On the drive to my house there are 4 homeless at intersections with signs. There is a guy in the morning that if you don't give him any thing will hit your car with his cane right off orleans street in bmore. There is one guy in fells that camps by the bank of america ATM and will legit stand next to you and ask for cash as you are getting cash out of the ATM.

In college there would be 3 homeless outside of the 7-11 next to our dorms at all times. The legless man in the wheel chair on the septa entrance right around 30th street station....

I can't stand it. I understand some people got it hard. But there are way way way to many homeless in cities.

Homeless people all over Portland and Seattle

Seattle has them everywhere.

Even in the burbs, you hop off I-5 and you have a few posted on the corner.

What trips me out is I see more able bodied people than ever bumming on the corner. Younger people like 20-30.

The homeless issue has gotten really out of hand in NYC and deBlasio is feeling the heat. Seeing more violent incidents as a result. An architect was stabbed in the neck and a Korean tourist got slashed with a machete this Summer. Gotta keep your head on a swivel around them. The lack of mental institutions contributes to this.

Bad here in DC especially with kids, but most of them are just high out of their minds. K2 :smh:

Yeah man **** is annoying. Every time I ride the subway at least 3-5 people are panhandling with the same story...

Saw a shirtless "homeless" dude with a 6 pack the other day; dude had the nerve to hold up a sign saying he was hungry while showing off an athletic body  :smh:

Here in the Bay most of them are alcoholics/drug addicts, so I don't give them @#$@. Only help out families with children (might be a scam too, but you never know) /people who really need it

Idk.. I usually give to whomever if I have it.  People cant help who they've become, and we can all be judged for something.

SF has them on lock and most are very aggressive. It's got out of towners super shook.

I'm never in an area where there are bums so it's not an issue for me. But I wouldn't help one if I came across one. There's a reason why they're called 'BUMS'. Homeless is just another PC term for this soft *** nation.

Down here, they're usually heavy around off intersections off the interstate by the mall and in Wal Mart parking lots. Ironically, often standing right in front of a "now hiring" sign (Wal Mart is always hiring) holding up a sign. In fact, places PAY people to just hold signs all day. It's a case by case basis, but many locally here have already been busted as frauds. They'll drive up to the gas station with their sign, get out, make themselves appear about more disheveled than normal, and panhandle.

There is one named Tony though, supposedly he's a Vietnam vet and got "on that ****" from back in the day and is still messed up. He'll always be walking in the middle of the street, facing traffic, but walking backwards and talking to himself.
