And this.  I swear all people look for nowadays are things to be "outraged" about.   No one looks at the context or circumstances behind anything.
 
She was trying to frame the debate as a rich white guy vs poor hard working latino worker. She wanted to glorify the worker and make a statement against Trump, but ended up demeaning them with her toilet example.

She's guilty of not being able to articulate her thoughts and probably also harboring certain thoughts about Latinos, but the the way it came out was pretty much the opposite of what she intended.

Explain to me how does this stop actual racism from being addressed? The type of people who would use this as an example to brush aside other forms of racism are by default the kind that don`t take it seriously at all to begin with.

She's making a pro immigration argument... she's on the side of the prople being outraged lol. It's pretty obvious. I know plenty of eastern european white girls that are scrubbing toilets as well.

I've heard similar things said about poor people in NYC. That there will always be broke people in NYC because the rich need maids, janitors, doorman etc.

The faux outrage is funny to me.

I love the, "There are better things to worry about" response. As if you couldn't apply that to ANYTHING outside of a natural disaster happening

Nevertheless, she realized her error and apologized...

I want to start by saying I ALWAYS take responsibility for my actions. In this particular case I will take responsibility for my poor choice of words but I will not apologize for being a racist as I am NOT. I whole-hearted f up today. I don’t want to bull anyone with lame excuses. Although, I was stopped mid-sentence by Rosie and couldn’t finish my point I will not let Rosie take responsibility for my words. I should have known better as I was on The View and it was live. I’ve learned a very valuable lesson. It is my hope that this situation will open up a conversation about immigration and the Latin community as a whole. By the way I clean my own toilets.

A gives shallow insights into social issues and current events during the middle of the afternoon on weekdays
