Back on the Fresh Prince, I find it odd that the OG Vivian was a headstrong career woman, and once they replaced her, she became unemployed, with no ambition whatsoever. Watching Oprah and whatnot...

Aunt Rachel moved to Detroit. Eddie drove and picked her up as a surprise gift to Richie when she said she couldn't make it for Christmas. That was the last time I remember her being on the show.
 
Season 9 was where everything pretty much was done. Eddie quit school and joined the police force. Laura and Steve finally got together. The show ended with Steve going into space. 3j replaced Richie.

I bet 3j and Richie was fighting for screentime and they forced old *** Richie out. Was nice seeing him in Vampire Diaries. Happy to see black actors working

Yeah there was a more than just an actress replacement there.

Aunt Viv suddenly just became a lofty "yes" woman. OG Aunt Viv was making career moves, dishing out lessons to the kids etc...it's a shame what they did to her character...

I'm thinking because the OG was labeled the stereotypical angry black (dark skin) one both on and off the set. Re-cast by a lighter more soft spoken lady.

Bruh, it ain't even that deep. Had nothing to do with personalities or anything.

2nd Aunt Viv was high yellow. White girl jokes. All it is.

We never called her white aunt viv tho. Just light skinned.

Uncle Phil looked like Hilary. At least the first aunt explained how Ashley, Nicky, and Carlton got their skin tones.




And for the record, I'm not down with a remake.


Remember the Cosby remake/extension from like 98-2000?

She hated on will tough and stilll does, how is it everyone in the cast got something bad to say about her but she the victim?
 
Show was weaker once he didn't marry lisa though there were still funny episode's he was coasting until bad boys came out
 
I wish they did one reunion show while Uncle Phil was still around. Just one.
