Atleti got our number in la liga but we specialize in the CL.

That El Clasico in the Camp Nou snapping Barca's historic unbeaten run was the catalyst for changing the shape of the entire European season. Barca slumped and got knocked out by Atleti, and RM got the belief to turn their season around.

Aubameyang rumors got me hype although Lewa is the better player. Auba fits perfectly with the identity of this RM team though, pace and directness, and get that deadly counter attacking going again. Physically overwhelm backlines. Wouldn't be mad with either.

This CL win got me feeling myself though b. 2 in 3 years, furthering the gap between us and other clubs. Gunna be walkin round with my chest out son.

Forgot to take pics during the game last night, was too busy cheering. I was a bit shocked at how empty the stadium was but KC is a great place to catch a game. Obviously Bolivia isn't a world beater but the U.S. were solid last night, Zardes showed good composure in finishing and the boy Pulisic scoring his first international goal was awesome


Caught the CL final at No Other Pub (Sporting KC's bar in the Power & Light district) and the atmosphere was great, felt for Griez on that PK miss but I had a feeling RM was gonna grab #11. Bale was great imo, I don't get to see Atleti often but I was really impressed with quite a few of their guys too that everyone's already highlighted over the last couple pages. Ironically we went to an Adidas outlet this morning and they had the RM home kit but was sold out in every size but small. Woulda been tough to pass for ~$30 there if they had a Large.
