Actually did some research. Points come and go as you do friendlies of course but your federation can go on deciding how many they want to do. Apparently Wales hired some consultants about going on who to play against to secure wins or draws. So they'll go for easy targets.

England however play as many as they try to not only shift around possible starting 11's and people who are on a hot streak like Kane but for the money gained in all of it (Wales don't change their 11 ever). That's why they always opt to play Brazil or Spain at home in Wembley. That brings in more people in the stands and viewership then England going against Cyprus for the Euro qualifying.

And since England always either loses or draws against those teams that is their result.
