I've worn my pairs several times and they don't look like that, sounds like your friend needs new feet Lol
Sounds about right, I find it hard to believe those would be the Curry 3's being they have the exact cushioning and soles as the Curry 2's.

I think those were Foot Locker family exclusive, so if they aren't on those sites you'll either have to try in store or eBay.
