I think LSU will have to live with miles for more than a couple of years. This was their chance to fire him. They can't possible go through another coaching rumor debacle this quickly
But, if miles does get fired, he may follow him to another good program. When Helton gets fired, he MIGHT be a candidate at El Paso or Hawaii if he's lucky.
No self respecting coach who has good credentials would join a staff where the head coach is inferior to them.

hell of a coach. I will always wonder what he would have done had USC offered him something ridiculous like $8M. He doesn't seem like he would be an LA guy, but damn, does he always want to be under the shadow of Urban and Jim? The hiring of Jim made everyones job that much more difficult. I was glad to see him leave Stanford, but dammit, another great coach replaced him.
I hope he stays in Lansing for his entire career. Him and Izzo are two of my favorite coaches in college
