Polls, man.

It's feast or famine in CFB. If Oregon beat MSU they'd be top 4 and people are talking about this and that. They lose by three on the road and suddenly they're trash

Again... Preseason polls are, IMO, detrimental to the health of CFB. They wrongly warp season-long perceptions that can have ramifications far beyond week one.

You guys make it sound like its December. Just went outside, it's 97 degrees, don't think ESPN cares because the top 4 on 9/20 isn't going to stay that way.

Ohio State doesn't have a QB. TCU and Baylor aren't that good.

Based on games played. The best team in the country right now is Ole Miss, ESPN knows that.
