NT's All Time NBA ReDraft Thread: GR8 Write Up Page 187, Bracket Final Vote

Stockton:
51.5% FG.
38.4% 3PT.
54.1% 2PT.
82.6% FT
54.6% eFG
60.8% TS

Nash:
49.0% FG.
42.8% 3PT.
51.8% 2PT.
90.4% FT.
55.6% eFG
60.5% TS.

Curry:
47.1% FG.
44.0% 3PT
49.2% 2PT
90.0% FT.
56.1% eFG
60.2% TS.

All very comparable.

Stockton is highest FG/TS/2PT shooting (which I feel like is a great indication of your versatility shooting the ball).
Nash is highest FT.
Curry is highest 3PT/eFG%. But still has to maintain those numbers another ten years or so.

The margin between the three isn't huge, I'll say that. But I'm just a bit more comfortable saying Nash and Stockton are a touch better shooting right now, given their careers are over.

Curry kills them scoring the ball though.
JJs might as well have just said Sabonis' name when he was hinting at taking a European player that had a better career overseas than in the NBA.
Right?

When the conversation is "Guy killed it overseas, did decent over here," you are talking about... not Myvidas, not Yourvidas...

Arvidas. :smokin

Sabonis was more that decent over here.

24 PER, as a 31 year old rookie with no knees. He gave you 25 minutes of elite performance.

Unfortunately he could only give you 25 minutes.

Yeah, JA, you might wanna mention volume, eh?

Stockton 3 point % vs Steph isn't really the same sample size wise.

Liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle bit of a difference there.

That's with two ruptured achillies and arthritis in one of his feet.

Even gave Karl Malone and the Jazz 24/10 over 5 games in the playoffs

And he was a shell of himself...dude was SO skilled. Him and Hakeem probably had the best court vision at the 5 in the history of the sport. Sabonis, when healthy, could literally do it all.
One of the 2 names you've mentioned to me belongs approximately nowhere in this ENTIRE draft, my dude.

Remember that, and be easy.
