Real talk, what's the deal with no name dropping? Like if Iverson got mentioned late first round and that caused you to not get him really second round, then you're losing to someone who needs to have his roster mentioned in order to fill it out. That guy shouldn't be a threat.

Because the purpose of all of this is to try and complete the best roster you can, but you also have to judge letting a guy go, to try and hope he'll be there for your next pick. People sayin their names, over and over and ******* over again, reminds 2-5-15 different owners of that guys availability.

After they're picked, we can talk about them all we want, but prior to that, people need to keep it in their pants.

It's tough to gauge how valuable Elgin Baylor was with no turnover or accurate possession statistics but the circumstantial evidence suggests overrated.

1. Elgin Baylor Laker teams were generally mediocre to poor offensive teams.

The Lakers were bad, but in league that small, and the supposed physical advatage he had and less sophisticated coaching scouting he couldn't elevate his squad to consistent offensive effectiveness.

2. Elgin Baylor true shooting percentages were low for even high volume players.

Elgin hovered around .430, league average was .479, and other high volume wer around .440 to .450. He was a chucker who wasn't efficient at all.

3. The Lakers offence became elite when Jerry West took over as number one option.

- Pretty much the year that Jerry West eclipsed Baylor in FGA Lakers offense was number 1 and really good, and more shots Jerry took and the less Elgin took the better the lakers got.

4. He doesn't have a reputation as a all world defender.

So if his offense wasn't impactful and wasn't on great defensive units how good was he?

Seems to me it's more probable than not that Elgin was overrated.

Still don't name drop, there's quite a few senior citizens here that forget, so let's not assist them.
