Eh.. while peak Ron Artest gives you more offense to go along with his elite defense.. Ben Wallace's defense at the center position is historically more valuable.

High value pick looking at peak. Teaming the Chicago boys back together with him and AD. You need a PG... I like it better than Kawhi for your team honestly.

there are diminishing returns when you have a whole team of #1 options 

Well so far King's roster is...

PG Steve Nash
SG Dwayne Wade
SF Bernard King
PF Shawn Kemp

Bernard, along with Wade, is the 1/2 punch for that squad and they would all be great on the break with prime Nash so IMO definitely a solid 3rd round pick. BK definitely makes more of an impact on this roster than any of the players selected after him so far.

On a team with wade and kemp BK is getting you at most 23 ppg

Ron artest can get you 18 of those points while playing all time great defense

Other than wade taking dudes out with kicks to the nuts who on that team is going to be shutting down opposing players?

Eh.. while peak Ron Artest gives you more offense to go along with his elite defense.. Ben Wallace's defense at the center position is historically more valuable.

Agreed that Ben is more valuable but imo it's easier to find a replacement tim protector to fill bens role than it is to find a wing to fill Rons role
