Child Support Makes No Sense!

I agree with everything you said except the court process.
Child support is dealt with in one court setting where the state represents the child through the mother. The court does not care about yall having a good relationship because they just had to put 3 fathers in contempt of court before they get to your case.

Mothers get sole custody.
Custody is another court process where you have to fill out lots of paperwork, have the custodial parent served with the custody hearing process and give a valid reason why you want joint custody. You also have to have a full drawn up plan with the custodial parent with a full calendar year of dates set up with who gets the child when and what time. There's holidays and not mention school decisions which is ANOTHER type of joint custody. I'm currently going through this right now but my ex thinks that I'm trying to get full custody so yea.... That process is slow.
There's also a good reason for single fathers to look into be legitimized. Everyone should check their state laws about that. That is also another court process. In Georgia if you're not legitimized as the father then you have no parental rights and cannot leave your child anything when you die.

My son mom was spiteful & bitter I got with my wife tried to hit me for CS through Child Support Services but I got a lawyer & I also had boxes full of reciepts from everything I did plus I had him 50% or more of the time.

But it worked out for me but GA laws suck. Its all about the woman

4 more years and I'm free from cs for my oldest
Her mom been outta work and just ******* lazy since she was born
No ambition or anything
Her moms always tryna hound me for extra cash
The state takes money out my check so that way I have no problems with payments
She even blocked me and moved without telling me
And took like 3 years to find them
Finally found them in May
And been tryna establish a good relationship with my oldest daughter
But her mom makes it REALLY difficult
She gets jealous whenever me and my daughter chill and she comes back with stuff I've bought her
Mind u
My daughter is 14 and me and her mom haven't been together since before she was born
It's crazy when I'm with my daughter
She's at the same age I was when she was conceived
My other 2 kids who live with me (8 and 9) enjoy having a big sister though

What state are you in?

I believe split custody still entitles the mom to CS on Ohio.

Damn I feel sorry u going through all that my dude
My 2 youngest live with me and have lived with me since me and their mom broke up in 2007
I've never had a custody agreement with her or anything
We just agreed that they live with me
Since I've always been there and been a provider
She she's them but a month or two can go by and she doesn't
I'm grateful for not having to go through that court process with them
I know it's a headache
I STILL keep all the receipts anyway just in case
One time I did get a notice
But it was because she applied for cash aid from the state
and listed them on her application
But I called her and she got it taken care of
So with her I've never had problems
 
The child support and child custody system is deeply deeply flawed.

It needs proper oversight after a complete overhaul.

The bias and reasoning behind it isn't just unreasonable but illogical.

That's the way I see it. The hell will I take orders from a random person to tell me what to do? I'll do that my damn self. This isn't high school where I need to go to the principals office.

I never brought up "choice". Yes if the girl makes it happen it's gonna happen. I'm saying for me the entire "I'm telling on you" approach some of these females take is sad. Handle your business. Not to say there aren't situations where a complete deadbeat dad comes into play.

These same chicks are quick to claim "single mom" knowing DAMN WELL daddy is paying all those bills. Whole other topic though

No one is a fortune teller and everyday you change.

There is no foreseeing the changes of the person you having a child by.

It's just not that simple bruh.

Cmon bro lettuce not sit here and place 0 responsibility on these deadbeat fathers....there is wrongs on both sides, the same way there is stand up dads, there is honest moms that won't even take a deadbeat through CS...and just this way, the same way there is gold digging, lazy mothers, there is a ton of stupid, childish men that won't hesitate to walk out on their seed.

You don't want these problems, stop thinking of sex, as just THAT Sex, sleep with a woman you trust and love, stop running this imaginary race of ***** every chick that shows you a little attention and if you must, at the very least protect yourself well, making a child isn't done by accident majority of the time, the word "unplanned" "accident" in these cases is just an acronym for "IRRESPONSIBILITY" both men and women need to do better at choosing who they sleep with and how they go about it, as men don't come botching and wining about CS when you had full control of the situation before it even happened.
 
Another reason why I'm not a member of team raw.

As much I believe courts fail a lot of fathers, there are a ton of deadbeats out there and at the end of the day dudes put themselves in these situations.

Nah bro.....people change but you should be smart as man to make the right choices to the best of your ability....start by not planting a seed in some trifling Thot, which is what must these dudes getting screwed have done, second don't be a deadbeat yourself, which a lot of these dudes on CS are to begin with, then there are marriages that crumble and at one point you were both very in love and started a family, these are not such common cases in CS battles, but they do happen I'm sure...in these cases be smart and responsible and although a court favors the mother, the court won't stick it in you if you have proof you've been there for yours from the jump and the mother if she's a good person you once loved, no matter how much she hates your guts now I'm sure she won't use your seed as a tool to screw you...I can say this with all honesty about my wife and I know for a fact I'm not the only one, wisen up fellas....find yourself a good woman.

People no longer believe in long term commitments, that's why we have this issue...of both men and women were committed enough to their family, this **** wouldn't be ruining so many lives.

That's not what this thread is about though.

There is no separation between a deadbeat and a involved father in the eyes of the court.

That's the issue.
