|| FIFA 17 Thread || Release Date-- Sept. 27 || Demo is out

So this new "journey" mode you have to be the Alex Hunter cat? Would have been awesome if they let you use your own created player. Probably won't touch it now.

It would be cool if it were like Mass Effect. Makes you use the last name Shepard for dialogue, and can create your own player.

Guess it works better in ME though because it's military, all you really need are last names.

Imagine some dude named Alex Hunter stole someone's girl and then he's forced to play with that name in journey mode b :smh:

no fifa 17 thread?

Game isn't out for another month, but if OP wants to start a new one I'm for it. I wish we could have gotten NTFC for PS4 going last year, I had my player ready and we just never got the team off an running. Game looks promising this year. PES looks nice too but its looks like they've taken an even bigger hit on licenses. I'm seeing they have two Brazilian clubs on the demo but when I checked their website there was no listing of the league being licensed on the game.

they dropped the ball on that man, it looks great but no teams lol

Good luck to anyone trying to download the demo, my internet does 146mbps and I'm doing about 1mbps on this demo lol servers are completely crashed

i binge played the demo yesterday.

fifa 16 was extremely broken. the demo so far addresses and improves on a lot of what FIFA 16 was trash in. But it's still far from perfect. I know it's just a demo but my early take is that FIFA 17 will satisfy fans that were fed up with 16, but still be a bit frustrating with its shortcomings. It's a big step in the right direction though.

the PES 17 demo is abysmal

. last year in the battle of the demos PES easily won it for me, but idk how this game got worse than its predecessor.

Check out the reviews for PES though. Apparently the game play is unreal.

Holy cow, PES2016 is BEASTIN in the early reviews, 92.50% on gamerankings.com currently:

PES has been better since 2015. Last year, PES2016 returned to its early to mid 2000s status where gameplay was clearly better than FIFA's and PES2016 was simply a better game than FIFA16. I tried to tell people, but I won't bother anymore. I've learned that PES vs FIFA is like discussing politics - you can't convince people through rational arguments.

They don't think with their heads, but with their hearts and no matter how much evidence you present they will stick with what they perceive is better.

You guys think I should make a fresh thread or just keep this one going and change the title?

And yeah I really enjoy Pro Clubs, my boys and I play it a ton. I'd definitely be down for NTFC as long as we stick to where our positions we choose prematch and where we're supposed to be tactically, that **** can get so frustrating if not

Stick with this one. Doubt we'd need another one since not a lot of people post here anyways.

Definitely down for Pro Clubs if its on Xbox One. I usually play CAM/CM or anywhere in midfield where we need help. Had my Pro average a 6.7 match rating all season. My friends dont get on as much so iy would be better but I do a lot of Drop ins and play as a defender when I get bored.

I'm down for pro clubs just don't put me on defense unless you won't me to play like Marcelo all day lmao

Fifa 17 news:
