Giroud's is fine but this might be some game theory nonsense I'm throwing out but Giroud I tend to get locked in constant draws while legendary gets the crazy goal fest. That goes for past FIFAs so I'd have to come back with another review after some play time. This version's game tends to be high speed even at very low starred teams. meh lol. Chose Red Star for distinct kit colours and name. C.Palace is in the same book for me

I'll come back months from now with a pic of my team winning Ligue 1

MetalMario MetalMario you gotta just keep praying PSG holds onto Cavani instead of upgrading to a Giroud-level striker and the amount of months will be cut down significantly

I've definitely experienced and read of how others have noticed that the game seems a bit easier on Legendary. I score more goals on legendary as well

What's different about the COM's playing style in legendary from world class? I haven't played legendary in a long time.

so are yall saying it's harder on world class?

that's crazy to me...my pride won't let me play anything other than legendary though

im managing barca right now and neymar is already rated as high as messi... and he's carrying my team

he got a perfect 10 rating in just the 1st half cause i rested him for the 2nd.

Then there's that controversy that floated for days that since Messi was on the cover he had to be the highest overall in the game. Now that he's gone he isn't. Ronnie is above him but now there's a lot more 90s in the game

Been playing the journey for a few days. In December right now and my guy is a 69. I started on arsenal and I'm on loan at Newcastle.. Gameplay is pretty good but shooting seems different to me, I've missed sooooo many chances that id normally score. Same with passing, they both seem less "assisted" to me. I just wish I could see my stats somewhere, I have no idea how many goals I've scored

**** this dude Gareth . He stays talking **** on Twitter. That was my boy too :frown: :smh:

Just picked it up yesterday and started on the Journey, definitely gotta go through the tutorials to get the hang of it again.

If anyone wants to play sometime, Xbox One GT is: joebruin00

Glad you dudes mentioned the legendary vs world class difference

Idk how developing games works, but it seems as if the difficulties are programmed by 2 completely different groups of people

I really can't put my finger on it but one guy pointed out something I definitely noticed. On world class, the AI has more shots on target.

It seems like legendary difficulty spends more time passing the ball. There's more of a focus on pass accuracy percentage and time with possession.

I always felt like on legendary it was a hassle getting the ball back so I had to make more out of every opportunity. While on world class there's more shootouts and the CPU definitely got the heavy trigger finger.

Anybody playing FUT Champions?

I made the weekend league. Started out strong and won like 12 of my first 17. Then FIFA struck and I am sitting on 14 wins in 25 games :/

Anybody else care to share how they're doing?

felt shortchanged by the journey

if you know what i mean

don't wanna spoil it and want you dudes to suffer what I felt haha

Started Ultimate team idk if i want to get in deep with it usually just play seasons.

When it comes to difficulty settings in FIFA and sports games in general compared to other video games i've played throughout my life it seems like sports games in general just up the sliders with the higher difficulties instead of rebalancing the game for the higher difficulties. So at times it feels like you are playing against a more broken CPU then a well balanced higher difficulty.

NBA2K was a terrible offender of the slider part before I stopped playing. I'd be surprised if it's changed.

The Journey was a great start - now they just need to add patches or extend it with more real-life scenarios in FIFA18.

Anyone feel when you got possession it's all about holding R2 and shielding the ball lol

I feel like the journey is going to be another mode they focus on along side ultimate team rather than fixing other elements of the game though.

It's a cool mode, but manager mode needs an overhaul in terms of detail and features. They took somewhat of a step with the board expectations, but compared to a game like football manager, they need to step up, a lot.

Would like to see more faces next year too. I know they just switched to a new engine so next year it should be great to see what guys they improve on.

Also, there's no reason why some fullback from midd*****rough should be keeping up with Walcott and Alexis... no matter the difficulty. Feels like defense is overpowered. Even with improved sliders

Almost done with the Journey, it's ok but career mode is still the king offline mode. Micky Targaryen already talking about he needs to consider his future since I have him as a sub.

The gulf in class between Middlesbrough and Arsenal isn't big enough to where their fullbacks wouldn't be able to keep up with you. If it was a team the caliber of Barnet you were playing, their fullbacks wouldn't be able to get near you.

Also knocking the ball on helps create separation as they are faster when they are not dribbling.

Middlesbrough was just a lower league team last year. There's no way their fullbacks should be walking my players down. And I do press the back forward. They still over run me and push me out of the way.

This is Theo Walcott, Alexis, and Hector Bellerin I'm talking about. 3 of the fastest players on the entire game.

If this was FIFA 16, Middlesbrough wouldn't even be keeping up. I'm not expecting to just run over teams, if that were the case I'd be playing on semi pro or something.

Look at these pace ratings. There's no explanation whatsoever why they completely bullied my wingers.

Arsenal is a completely different class of team than them. And the stats should reflect that on any difficulty.

I legit thought the journey would continue to career mode and have transfer signings and all the European cups.

When it just ends I was heated.... lol
