Excessive Force Much? Vol. Jaywalking

Nt extremes out in full effect

1. Cops need to stop using excessive force

2. People need to stop being idiots and disrespecting cops

I mean the kid was probably on some type of drug. That's why it was necessary for 4 cops to take him down with such force

He probably had some super human strength from the drugs

kid had that brock lesnar strength

Why is police officer the only job on the planet where if someone says something you don't like so many people find it ok for them to respond with force?

One thing I will say is we (online community) have to stop taking Video Titles as the Truth. We assume everything that we see in titles are what actually happened. I am not saying that the kid didn't jaywalk but wait for more info before we jump to conclusions and put our capes on. Either way, it is sad seeing a child get roughed up like that by a cop.

"According to Stockton Police spokesman Officer Joseph Silva, the teen had talked back to the officer and refused to comply with the request to move to the sidewalk, and had cursed at the officer, which led to the escalation"

What an idiot. Kid deserved to get his *** beat, don't care what you guys say. Police officers should not be disrespected like that. It's always the SAME thing before an incident like this. People need to use common sense, ignoring an officer and acting stupid will obviously have consequences :smh:

I'm sorry but a police officer didn't birth me or is someone I even know personally for me to "respect him" just off his badge, that officer needs to earn respect like everyone else....I detest this sense of entitlement, cops DONOT respect civilians for the most part, they are condescending and abusive, specially in large metropolitan areas and specially disrespectful towards the youth.

Quick question and pls don't attack me....

I know it was a bit much for jaywalking but that's still a ticket able offense right? I know some cops don't care but was the cop in the right to stop the kid and give him a ticket?

THIS. MAN. KNOWS.

Yea, dudes just say forget the Constitution and Bill of Rights. If a cop doesn't like the way you talk to him or look at him, he has the right to beat you to a pulp and arrest you for "resisting arrest".

You my friend, will be getting a rep as soon as I'm able to.

**** da police. I served 18 months in jail for a minor drug possession. Da police act like its only us ****** selling drug. What about the whiteys?. One of my boyz currently doin time cus he got caught with a couple weapons. **** da cops always on our **** for? **** Da Police.

You should be mad at the judge. They decided whether you spend time in jail for extended time, not the police.

 at buddy in here justifying that kind of force on an unarmed kid posing as a non threat.

 at the "was resisting excuse" ...shouldn't have even reached that level.

Lmao I feel you, me and my cousin both did house arrest in 09 after getting caught stealing hats from Lids and he had a knife on him so he got more probation time then I did. **** was worse then prison. This cop named officer hemsley would show up every 3-4 days to come see me. I hated that *****. It's safe to say 09 was the worst year of my life. After doing that long 6 months at the crib with my mom's nagging me. **** I felt free. Still had cur few and ****. So yea I agree, **** the police

Exactly.

Remember that video that went viral of the police trying to arrest someone after a traffic stop. (The story we were told)

The police responded with the footage from the cruiser cam and the whole story. Dude had a bunch of warrants and punched a cop in the face. But that was never included in the initial video because that doesn't make things go viral.

People are dumb as hell to believe every viral video the media shows them. They want your views. Views = money.

people dont care about the truth, they just want another excuse to hate on cops

we dont even know for sure why this situation came to be

people who hate cops (possibly justified) go out of their way to find excuses to hate on cops

if you hate a group of people then your opinion on a situation involving someone from that group of people is going to be heavily biased

The people who truly hate cops more times than not in my experiences have had some screwed up stuff happen to them by cops. So of course they will be a little biased because based of their experiences they have 0 tolerance for this nonsense or when seeing a cop do something questionable. But IMO that doesn't make their opinion void if anything it validates it because thye have more experience with how screwed up cops can be.
