My 22 year old niece has been sick for a few weeks, been in and out of the doctor. Went to the ER last night and they told her she might have lymphoma. Scans show a tumor in her chest cavity and we won't know the biopsy results until Monday. I need your prayers guys. She's young, about to graduate from college and was got accepted into a masters program. She's like my little sister. Please pray for her guys, pray the tumor is benign.

Update:

So I haven't updated since I originally created this thread. He in fact did have stage IV aggressive lymphoma that was starting to spread to other parts of her chest cavity. She started chemo two weeks ago and said it was the worst week of her life. Her normal weight before she got sick was around 130lbs. Because of the tumor and all of the fluid in her lungs, she ballooned to 145. She's now at 105lbs because she had no appetite and couldn't keep anything down.

My sister (her mom) is very much into nutrition so she started doing research on what natural supplements she can take along with the chemo. She started drinking shakes that consisted of extra virgin coconut oil, wheat grass powder, and turmeric. She drank three of those every day.

Yesterday she went to get a port installed to start her second of 5 rounds of chemo, and my sister asked for an xray. They said they usually don't take xrays so soon because tumors dont react that fast to chemo. There is usually no significant change until about the third session of chemo.

The xrays came back and they were very surprised. The tumors were reduced by about 50% with the first round of chemo! We don't know how much the supplements helped, although my sister did get that mix from a cancer article she read, but something is working and working extremely well.

Shes lost all her hair, and a lot of weight but she went back to school today with her chemo bag attached. I'm so proud of her for being so strong and hopefully the good news continues!

Thanks for the prayers NT!
