Fat Joe Appreciation

Yes. But Miami wasn't relevant till Those years when fat joe was doing remix collaborations. And you do know that's around the same time Khalid was reppin TS heavy. Cool and Dre. Then Wayne and Beatriz move to Miami. Pit bull, etc....etc. you get what I mean. Around that time Renzel popularity grows.

You're bugging. Miami was poppin' from the days of Luke to the days of Trick. And I'm from the Bronx and will always go to bat to Joey, but you gotta keep it real with this one.

How old are you my guy?

Fat Joe def had a hand in that, cause during that time, Trick Daddy and Trina were fading out as Ross/Khaled messing with Joe heavy.

Nobody is saying Miami wasn't popping were saying he had a hand in its resurgence when khaled n Ross came on the scene that's a fact

There's truth in what you're saying... But homie literally wrote "But Miami wasn't relevant till Those years when fat joe was doing remix collaborations." That's just not true.

Tony Sunshine Clears Up Fat Joe Rumors, What Happened w/ Lost Albums + New Music!

Tony sunshine slacked hard body...these spanish thots was ONNN him..he could've done da Chris Brown Mixtape route to get hot, and he could've jumped on that Reggaeton wave when it was burgeoning and get super cake on da side for hooks.

They're definitely young saying this.

Especially when Ross came up on Trick writing for Trina.

They don't know how big Luke and 2 Live Crew were and how he put out Poison Clan and JT Money and Pitbull.

Please educate yourself fellas. Don't repeat that Fat Joe comment again. Damn near everyone from Miami either come from Luke or Trick(Slip) in some form.

Cool dude lol...remember seeing him late night at the haven TWIN DONUT on Tremont/west farms baggin youngins, my mans rolled wit him and Pun, wud bring him thru, remember him sparking up wit us in the case and asking can he go a couple flights down to take a piss lol, and him rambling on about projects about to drop, giving previews on hooks he he was doing for TS (had to keep telling him keep it down in the case b4 they call security lol) cool dude tho wish he had more success....I thought Armageddon was gonna blow after that my world joint

Old Joe was trying to be Pun. A couple albums after Pun was gone, too many radio hits.

I always wanted solo albums of Armageddon and Tony Sunshine.

This right here, my mans fell through the cracks.

Not that I think duke would've blown up or anything, but it would've been solid.

Really thought triple seis would carve something out for himself. He was working heavy with the beatnuts for a minute there.

Never expected much from Seis and Prospect.

They were pretty much the Tony Yayo's of the crew who got put on by association.

Cuban and Geddy on the other hand should've gotten a little further than they did.

prospect had da fire wit da 1st Alchemist beat on da Terror squad album...

thats what keeps Fat Joe alive and flourishing, cuz we all know he can make a good top to bottom album of gully issh.

Fat Joe and Pun had me thinking Armageddon was NEXT. I still remember them hyping him around the time of that 1st TS album.

Never really expected anything Triple Seis.

Being a fan for all this time, I've come to the conclusion that Joey is an anomaly in the hip hop culture. He is the only cat that's been out there making solid albums that can be played start to finish and yet people don't check for him like that. But when he drops a banger/hit for the streets, it gets championed damn near everywhere. Look at what all the way up is doing for the summer. Has to potential to be considered as the anthem, and a probably getting spins from coast to coast, but there's not crazy anticipation for the platos o plomos album. I don't understand it at this point.

Last Fat Joe album I listened to was the one that had that song with Birdman and Scarface on there. Think I listened to one of those 'Darkside' mixtapes as well. He was always a popular Big Noyd to me.

Yep  had Noyd made it big, he'd be Fat Joe, second in command to break out, and I'd still passively listen to him

Armageddon and Prospect, thought both were gonna make it. Damn. My World was hard. That first TS album was hard.
