Jordan Retro 13 CP PE - 11/7

Guest or member login it doesn't matter, this is first time I called a Nike rep. He said the system will be up in a hour.... We shall see

system works for most of us....  i don't understand how  it works for some and  doesn't for others...  not that it works   most of the time for me..

This could be different than the normal issue.

Ordered a OVO Tee, Nike lost the order then found it. then Canceled it with a email and 15% off code Theeeen 3days later I got a notificTion on ups app for a shipment to my pad - and it's a OVO Tee

My card was refunded and everything
Go figure
Strong come up.

Yea Nike doesn't care about the collector. It actually uses our habit against us.
They can drop the same shoe 3 different ways giving us a little more of what we want for each release.

Like the 88 cement 3s... We got Nike air but the messed up and didn't put it everywhere t was supposed to go. Nike could drop those again and slap OG on the name with a "better" mold and sell out instantly.

The reason we don't get what we want is because it's bad business for Nike to do so. They want to keep us coming back so they keep dangling the carrot in front of us. The buzz Nike creates is priceless.
With all due respect my friend, your first sentence is slightly contradicted by what I underlined. You think the average consumer cares about Nike Air on the back of the 3's? Even better, do you think the average consumer decides they'll buy certain Jordan 1's because Nike stuck Nike Air on the tongue? That's a feature that's intended for the sole purpose of the COLLECTORS. We the collectors decides that that feature is "hot". I provide shoes to non-collectors. Everyone who has inquired about Maroon 6's has said "Them joints that come in December, I need dem! That color go hard!" Average consumers do NOT notice or have any knowledge of the whole Nike Air thing. If Nike were to release Maroon 6's with a Jumpman on the back and Nike Air and I got both and sold to non-collectors and I said "Exact same shoe, Nike Air for $220 or Jumpman for $190", which one would the average consumer get? Probably the one that's $30 cheaper. Remember, the average consumer nowadays is young plus there are a lot of females. I was involved in a Legend Blue riot in Toledo, OH last year where everybody got maced by the cops. I was one of the few old heads out there; I was 28 y/o. Nike Air on shoes is nearly a 25 year old feature when most of the sneaker heads nowadays are under that age.

My whole point is the Nike Air thing is a plus for collectors. Nike does indeed care about collectors. I fully, 10000000000% agree that they screw us by milking the same shoe over and over but when they bring out new lil' features like that, it's with the collectors in mind.

FYI, I personally can care less about Nike Air. I have 2 pairs of DMP Bred I's and I purchased the 2013 Bred I's. I traded my 2013's a few days after getting them for a pair DB 10's. Nike Air is nothing more than a gimmick IMO.

@AirForce1King so I guess you skipped over those when I replied to you earlier huh?

No sir, I was typing. I stepped out for a sec but I'm going through replying to everyone now...

This release reminds of the blk/red low 11 release.... Nike throttled the traffic on the app and ndc, most of waited at least 45mins to an hr... And on the site the wait was even longer. Then all of a sudden we all started getting thru on the app, then ndc traffic got thru... I really don't remember to many ppl saying their order got canceled. It just seem Nike likes to try no tricks on heavy volume releases.. After 11 low release that's when retros went on hiatus from the app and ndc...

Anyone not able to check order status or orders at all? Just wanna see if I got tracking since no email yet
I would say if you haven't received an email yet  then  your  not going to get   them.    unless Nike's system is that screwed up that emails stopped going out

have you ever been able to wear 2 sizes down  in any shoe?   It makes no sense why  someone would think they could   all of a sudden.

in an absolute absurdity, I saw a pair of size 14 DCs at a goodwill while looking for vintage electronics & wallets. tried them on and they fit... bit snug but they fit.

oh ok...  i was going to say.  I have seen these kids out there try to buy  ridiculous sizes  that  they have no chance fitting in claiming they bought it for themselves when in reality they bought to resell

Are you a Nike rep posing as a NTer ? Because it seems when ever a question arise about orders or shipping, you always seem to have an answer

Wrong. If this statement was true, there would be mass releases of everything from Royal 1's to DB's. Rare shoes i.e. collectors items help keep the Jordan Brand name "exclusive". That hunt for the shoe and those outrageous resell prices, free marketing for Nike. Nike could make 300,000 AirMags for $750 a piece. That's $225,000,000 profit off of one shoe and guess what, all 300,000 pair would FLY off of the shelves. Why not do this? Why release a limited amount for a fraction of that profit?
With all due respect, you are wrong. You must not understand business. Why saturate your product for a short term gain when you can continually make money off of it for years to come. Your mag argument makes no sense. If they mass produce it, more than half of that 300k will not be sold at retail, plus the "cache" of the MAG is now gone. You overestimate how much people will pay for a shoe if they know it's not LIMITED. Look at AJ11 Columbias, AJ6 black/Infrared, ect. People where hyped and the resellers where licking their chops. But the moment people found out they were mass produced, it was a wrap for those shoes! You can get those shoe for about $270 at so many spots. And that's just only two examples. The game has changed, you guys need to adapt.
My Mag statement was an example, a horrible one at that. Let's switch it to Jordan XI's in December. Last few years we saw 500,000 pairs release for. They ALWAYS sell out on release day and in the restocks. However, I fully, 100% agree with your rebuttal about Columbias and Infrared 6's. Hype definitely died down after them but they weren't exactly "collectors" items either my friend. We're getting away from my argument that in a sense, Nike DOES INDEED CARE ABOUT THE COLLECTORS.

Let's look at it like this. This is the first shoe that came to mind. Pictured below are Anniversary XI's. 25 pairs released with a Jumpman on them. Who was that Jumpman for? You average consumer? Some kid to go play basketball in? Or were they slid into original production as a COLLECTOR'S ITEM?
Many Jordan-heads were bummed to learn that the 25th Anniversary edition of the Air Jordan XI would not feature the embroidered Jumpman logo that has always been seen on the ankle area of the shoe. A lot of people went out and scooped them up anyway, and now it turns out that the majority of those who went out and copped the crispy white Anniversary XI’s this weekend will probably now be even more upset to learn that 25 lucky AJXI consumers opened their box to find a special surprise. Not only were there tonal white Jumpman logos on the uppers, but they also have a special commemorative seal under the right insole. Only 25 of these special editions were randomly circulated with the rest, so we’ll have to wait and see who got lucky and who didn’t. Keep reading after the jump for a better look at two pairs from happy sneakerheads who got their golden tickets, and Jumpman logo or not, you can still pick up your Anniversary XI’s now on eBay.

No,  i have just seen  a lot of issues  with nike....  I guess  i should state "IMO"  but I'm just trying to help  no reason to be salty

I have purchased shoes on a fri.  and didn't get anything from Nike    all weekend only to be sent an email    monday  saying they  did;t have my size available.  so  in my experience   I have had issues with  Nike's system   as  most of us have

Lol   I just started  within the last year  collecting  and buying shoes  and my wife freaks out everytime i get a package.
My mom's heart dies a little more every time the UPS man knocks on the door.
Serious question, how old are you? Not trying to be funny or anything, just curious...

Not salty just asking a question, but it's no reason to tell someone they won't get their shoe. Because they didn't get a shipping email one NTer had Nike tell him they lost his shoes, 3days later they showed up. After he got them Nike call him and tell him they are working on getting him another pair....
