Work @ Facebook or Twitter? - Page 3

Neither company will be relevant in 5 years.

Google, Boeing or the fed
Lol why Boeing out of all govt contractors? Also FB & Twitter will be relevant in 5 years.
That's one of the reason I stopped using social media. Too many irrelevant people thinking they're relevant

FB & twitter will suffer the same fate as myspace. History repeats itself. Only reason FB is still afloat is because the powers that be use them for data mining to collect info on users. This whole zuckerberg david and goliath story is one big fabricated lie to fool the masses.

This blatant lie that some kid blatantly copied myspace in a dorm and somehow facebook became bigger with less money and resources is laughable. There was a deal made behind the scenes to push FB into the limelight

Facebook is the move.

They will let you work remotely as well. Did they already offer?

Facebook has been declining for a while. As long as celebrities run Twitter, it will never die.

Actually, it hasn't. Did 1 billion users in a single day in August.

Old people rekindling old hopes and dreams on FB >>> Young people crying for attention on Twitter

(And those brats are on FB too)

Especially considering the fact that 5 years ago everyone thought it would be impossible for any of these social network companies to make money.

I dont see FB being around in 20 yrs without having to continue buying up other companies.

I don't even see how this is a question OP.

You go with FB and never look back. It has the better CEO, better business models, more money in banks/stocks with greater purchasing power for future endeavors.

This is very true. OP let us know who you go with. Since you aren't driving the commute is only a time factor. You don't have to stay with FB forever.

Are the salaries comparable?

I'd say Twitter for a year or two. You said you'd have a bigger footprint there, so use that, gain experience, more than you probably could at FB and then when you grow out of the position, move on. Walking to work will allow you to save more money and benefit you in the long run
