but why do you care so much?I watch a lot of youth basketball u16 u18 tournaments, if you guys think that this isn't a trend towards EVERYONE running the exact same offense you aren't paying attention.
but why do you care so much?
why do you want players who can't score off ajumper3 point jumper to be in the league so bad?
people who are good at things outside of that still exist. Boogie, AD, BumassBron...

Boogie shoots above league average from three
Boogie, an awesome post, scorer, passer ball handler, is taking 3.5 attempts per.
and even if he shot 33% it's smarter to shoot them.
Why is that good?

25% of his shots used to be long 2s. Why is that good?
Actually it's not good for him to be taking that many 3s
he can get on the offensive glass and do what he's actually good at.
look we can all agree to disagree. but don't come crying to me when everyone is running the houston rockets offense.
Offensive glass from 18+ feet out? Really doubt the numbers are all that different from when he shoots a 3. Off of a jumpshot from that range, he's really only getting an extra long rebound or a tipped rebound. Puts absolutely no pressure on the rebounding team off a miss.
Why are long 2s good?
