Yea, he really did. Think it helps you can't hear it being said or read his lips. Unless there's another vid

Rondo was kinda slick with the **** tbh

Rondo got off very easy. I guess the league didn't want to suspend him for more than that because it would've made it seem as if they knew about Bill Kennedy being gay prior to the incident. Since it came out the way it did, they really could not make a case for suspending him longer than a game.

That's a very good point....

I wonder if any **** will fall on Kennedy for the way he refs games with Rivers coaching?

yup Bill Kenndey really ****** this whole thing up for Adam Silver. If he dowsnt come out thus goes away and is whispered about by NBA nerds. Kennedy coming out could make this a real issue in main dtream media.

that woukd never happen in public.

they would do it like they did danny crawford on his mavericks vendetta, tell him behind closed doors to chill.

Funny thing is Rondo can always play the "I didn't know" card ....Bill should've been came out instead of waiting for Rondo to offend him

I don't care who's homosexual or not, but I do see a problem with individuals that are homosexuals and allowed to be in the locker room when the players are naked. Same with female reporters. If they were straight dude's doing it , it be unconstitutional ...

what does Rondo knowing or not knowing his orientation have anything to do with it? it doesn‘t, other than the fact that kennedy used this opportunity to shame rondo. him coming out just shows kennedy took this personal.

Nah but Samaki (sp?) Walker did make a 3 after time expired going into Halftime of that Horry game that shouldn't have counted :nerd:

This is true. It was another shot that playoffs. I think Hornets Magic series that went in but didn't count as well. But they started reviewing buzzer beater baskets the next season if I'm not mistaken.

That said Sacramento had every opportunity to win that series. The samaki walker shot is what it is. But when you blow a 24 point lead with a chance to take a commanding 3-1 lead, you set yourself up for that.

Besides everyone still to this day has selective memory and selective outrage brining up game 6. Game 5 was a much bigger travesty. Considering game 5 is a series changing game in a 2-2 series. Between Shaq fouling out on those Ticky tack flop calls to fisher getting blatantly thrown out the way by Chris Webber so Bibby could be wide open on his game winner the Kobe getting totally hacked on the last shot of the game. Game 5 was a joke. That Sacramento team was mentally weak. They would've got washed in LA in game 6 down 3-2. Anyhow when you shoot 16-30 from the free throw line in a game 7 with the finals on the line at home, manage to go to overtime and still lose. You deserve to lose. No excuses whatsoever.

Anyhow I can't believe that series was 13 and a half years ago. Time flies.

My work here is done.

Until next time fellas.

Because people do use the term regularly, whether as a joke or similar to simply saying a curse word to someone. If you have ever sat close enough at a game, its normal to hear all kinds of **** talking and vulgar words  . That's why its kinda funny when you see little kids sitting courtside because that's all you hear when grown men are playing basketball. You even hear the N word on the court some time, but let a white player say it to a black player. Its going to be consequences. That's just the way of the world.

If Rondo calls Lebron a "******" during the game, he gets a tech I'm sure. Does he get thrown out and suspended? I don't see it happening unless Lebron comes out the closet. Rondo knowing about it beforehand definitely makes a huge difference. Let a player call Jason Collins that right now during a game and see what happens.

Exactly.. I think most understand this, which is why it‘s rather ridiculous the league is shaming RawJohn Rawndoe. Fine the guy and suspend him if you have to, but why escalate the situation?

I already countered CP's claim that the series, or at least a specific game, did not have any bad (suspicious) calls in favor of the Lakers which was a deciding factor in who won that series.

Someone can find that and post it so we can move on with the thread.

Don't be dense, man.

Now counter game 5 and food poisoning letting you guys get your 3 wins.

Not being dense, just stating a fact of what goes on during game play  . Not saying its okay to say the word regardless of skin color, but I'm just relating it to calling a homosexual something that's discriminatory for them and not understanding the consequences for doing so.

Not that but if you can't see the basic difference b/t a black to black and white to black then idk what to say. Not trying to derail but it's just not the same. I'll even say I don't like the word period but as a black man I'll be more offended if a white person said it then if a black person did.

Black person wasn't whipping my great great grandfather *** and calling him a "*****" or telling my mother she had to pick her food up from the back door

Moving along though
