Russell won't even have to be good to be an All-Star. He just has to be in Los Angeles. laugh.giftongue.gif

This is OKC's year.

Came in just to say this.

"I apologize, turns out it was not the Thunder's year.  I wish they hadn't played the games"

Don't think that's crazy at all. I mean, I'm bout to be 26....and Melo was my favorite player and the reason I became a nuggets fan. You gotta remember, he burst onto the national scene in 02-03 at Cuse. I was 12/13 at the time.

Before Melo, AI was my favorite player.

I feel like Rudy Gay would **** everything up for any team he goes to, especially the Bulls. They FINALLY figured out to uptick pace and run through Jimmy.

In the playoffs, in the 4th quarter, when the opposing team has fresh legs from getting easy baskets all game, and energy to play defense, and swarm kd and russ, once the shots stop falling, and the offense goes cold, it will be business as usual for the tundra. Shoulda kept perkins

Used to root for the "Young Buck" too. Disappointed me mean.gif

That's me.

I rooted for development. Then I saw Byron still had his "job" and realized that's futile.

Then I saw Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram play.

Then I began dreaming about Ingram/DLo/Randle/Clarkson/Nance/Brown and 60 million dollars in cap space.

Then I changed my mind. pimp.gif

Was 50% sure it was you and someone else but didn't want to falsely accuse laugh.gif

No hope for landing the #1/Simmons or you prefer Ingram?

Just odds. I wanted Wiggins, but #1 is tough.
I wanted Towns, but not upset about #2.
I'd welcome Ben, sure, but its tough to pull #1. If 2 is my best hope, I'll gladly take Ingram, slots in perfect at SF with this core developing.

The Draymond hype this year is so consistent with the Warriors rise overall. So sudden and accelerated. Like, I don't recall him even being in the discussion for top 5 at the position even last year. Now there's a good amount of people basically calling him the best PF in the league.

I've said plenty of times...when he plays well, I always give him his props. When he plays bad, I'll call him out on it. Thought this season, he's been about 70% bad and 30% good.

I've said this plenty of times. I think he'll be fine in this league and have a long career. Don't see him as a potential star, or a franchise building block. That's all.

This been a fun discussion all year. I just feel like even when you giving him props you mask it with "it was in garbage time" or something like that. He had a solid December and you hardly acknowledged as such

Then you factor in the fact that you hold it against him for being the #2 pick and that he's doing historically bad for a #2 pick.. that's where it's like, come on fam

Dude has to deal with Kobe/Lou/Swaggy jacking shots, has to deal with Byron. If Jabari Parker can use the Jason Kidd excuse and the teammate excuse, Russell should too

Anyway, NO HATE TOWARDS YOU, I'm just also trying to call it how I see it

I'm waitig for the Draymond > Steph arguments to begin

Better Defender
Better Rebounder
Avg more assists
Higher Leadership Per Game
Higher True Winner Rating

Better overall player. #notevenclose

I mean, it is what it is. Every year since Blake broke out, and the and the Clips became hated....there have been constant attempts to try and discredit Blake as "the best pf" in the game.

Even when he finished top 3 in MVP voting in a season where Bron and KD put up historic numbers, LMA and Love were better....last year, AD was better...every year...it's a new thing.

Blake has been the one constant PF playing at an elite level for the past 4 or so years....but people get bored of that, and continuosuly try to find a new flavor of the month that's "better".

The good games D-lo has had that I've seen mostly have been semi competitive games. Like last night, he showed heart and balled. And typically, I'd give him his due. It's fun to hate on him a lil bit...so I'll throw a snide comment here and there laugh.gif. But I really can't hate on good basketball.

When dudes run out posting highlight videos of 6/17 shooting nights and 14pts in a blowout loss with the majority of the points in garbage time....Imma call it out. When he's 5/22 in his last few games....and everybody is quiet...is what's funny to me. But he has a good game, and he's a "future all star" etc.

Parker thru 25 games was a lot better than D-Lo has been this year. And this year, he's coming off a major injury and playing a limited role...so it's a lil different.

All in all, I'm interested to see how D-lo turns out. In either going to eat crow, or look like a genius. That's the fun of this pimp.gif.
