5th Grade Teacher Dresses in Blackface for Halloween

In 2015 white folks damn well what they're doing when they put that **** on their face. Like others have already pointed out you can pull off the custom w/o all the extra ****. Every Halloween we see racist customs pop up, some more blatant than others. This is just a slick way of racist folks showing how they feel but they can lean on the excuse "It's just a custom". Maybe some of y'all should read up on the history behind blackface if you think this is just a little thing.

That's an interesting generalization based on race. When you say that some people here should read up on it, are you only referring to non-white posters? Apparently, all white folks know damn well what it means in 2015.

^^ You sound like a idiot. Clowns exposing themselves left and right in here. At the end of the day whites know exactly what they're doing when they pull this passive aggressive **** every year. And every year we gotta hear the same escapist excuses because of the simple fact that whites don't respect anyone but themselves and hell barely even that. There is absolutely NO EXCUSE for ever going in Blackface period.

lol on you8r old screen name you would literally cry and wish death on people who would make fun of derrick rose.

you probably wanted lolo jones to death cuz she dressed up as your bae

More negative generalizations based on race. There should be a term for that...

Aren't you the same Aryan brother that claims white privilege doesn't exist?

Aren't you the same hateful racist who said that you're " not with the pc attitude that a certain group of people can coexist with us"? You don't believe that different races can coexist period. Your opinion on anything is irrelevant.

people using black face on halloween might actually mean they like who they are dressing up as instead of being a racist

Question for anyone "outraged" and "offended" by this costume... do you use the N word? specifically with your peers as a term or endearment.

any and every excuse

"hypocrisy"

"the n word"

"theyre not racist, they just like the person theyre dressing as"

Literally would mean literally, which literally didnt wish death ever nor cry, i leave the cryin to you many nters who jump at ish to say

"hey not fair thats racist"
Bla bla bla every damn second every damn chance, arent you complainers tired of it?

Grow up thats life and the world. Theres ****** up ppl in it but you know that, do something bout it or to that person or keep it movin. All this crying and complaining gets you nowhere.

Ok so he knew what he was doing u think. Great that means hes a peice of ****. So what does twenty or thirty nters crying thats racist do for yall?
All im saying i just dont get it. Grow up theres racist ppl in life and if youre not out here in any way trying to organize a stop to that (which nobody is nomore really) . Then your crying is wasted whining non productive flat out complaiing. And theres a new abundance of that on nt today. Keep it up, doing a great job at it.

He put makeup on his face, he possibly most likely made racist gestures with a ******* Halloween costume. So ******* what. Hes a peice of ****. Move on.

its not lengths, its not a double standard, its not hypocrisy and its not condemning one thing and doing the same exact thing

You know this place is ridiculous when a white person who thinks blackface in any form or fashion is racist (or at best, very ignorant) and completely unacceptable, who has stated the number one most important topic in American politics is criminal justice reform, is constantly categorized as a white supremacist (albeit by a few bigots).

Carry on.

LOL. I'm not even condoning blackface at all.I have already stated that I understand its offensiveness, but the hypocrisy in here is glaring as usual.

You don't have to explain that to me, NTers think in complete black and white. There are things I may not be offended by, but I understand why :smh:people would be. Especially if there's an inkling of a grey area or when motives come into question. Offense is in the eye of the beholder, same NTers who are quick to get offended are very insensitive in other instances.

Don't get me started on the hypocrisy, I've never seen so many instances in my life where someone will condemn something and do what they are condemning in the exact same sentence WORD TO HAND2KING. Dudes going lengths to defend their double standards.

 You're right. I already know you don't need it explained.

Sometimes Niketalk seems like what I would expect from a bizarro world FOX News forum.

I guess you missed the part where I said "If you think this is just a little thing". That can be aimed at anybody who's ignorant to the history behind it. White, tap dancers like you, green, yellow, whatever.

I know the history of it, which is why I said I don't condone it, and I understand that it is offensive. I can't assume that everyone knows the history. I can see both sides. Some people probably would rock it and play coy like they didn't know what they are doing. Some people are stupid too, and might not have any idea that what they are doing is disrespectful. I'm definitely not going to make some sprawling generalizations about a whole race based on a few idiots in Halloween costumes.

I'm sure this grown *** man knows what he's doing, or at least has a clue. He don't need you making excuses for him.

Whatever. It's not my place to tell people whether they should, or shouldn't, feel offended by something. I'll leave that to the internet SJW's. I'm not gonna pretend that I know what people are thinking when they do stupid **** either. Peace.
