Yeah I didn't even bother with the Esco mall. Even though that mall is nicer than the ghetto Carlsbad mall they don't get a lot of inventory. Carlsbad does because it borders Oceanside which has a large Military community

Alright guys I have a dilemma. I only need 1 pair. I got my call from FTL earlier today. I'm just worried about my PayPal not being able to work in-store. I don't want to cart on SNKRS and pass them up and take the risk at FTL 3 hours later. Would it be a good idea to go to footlocker sometime tomorrow and try and use my PayPal and purchase a gift card for the amount of the shoe and just use that on Saturday??

Yeah. I hate to be "that guy" since there are tons of people outside of larger cities that have to rely on NDC and other online sites to cop, but ... if you're in a metro area, they appear to be plentiful. I usually make nice with one or two employees at HoH or Footaction to see what their inventory is. In any case, I moved from Houston last year to SD but I still contact a kid to back in Htown to get an idea of how many they're getting to use a reference, and he made it sound like his HoH got a TON when we spoke last week or so ago.

And on a different note. It's kinda of funny how some people aren't willing to shell out $220ish but when some Js were a lot more limited, $250 was a steal and $350 wasn't too terribly uncommon. Talk about the irony

This thread has been real chill. I remember the Wc4 thread back in January and February people were having non stop arguments about "tumbled leather". But there's been none of that in here. Hope everyone who is waiting on raffles gets their call later today and those who will hunt online come Saturday morning gets their share as well! By this time next week we should all be satisfied!
