I was thinking about heading over to SNEAKERCON in Charlotte and wanted to know if anybody could share their experiences with buying J's at SNEAKERCON. Is it a waste or full of good deals? Should I beware of fakes?

Just thought with the holidays approaching I could find someone wanting to get rid of something for the low.

Wish their was A SC event once A year close 2 me. Closest SC for us Oregonians is SF Cali and I heard of A shoe evnt that goes down in Seattle but don't know the name

of the event or when. Anyone in Oregon or Washington that know of A shoe event that's coming up or in the near future PM sum info. I thought about starting an event here

locally in my area but I would need some guidance/advice on how to go about starting such an event.

Just get the shoes verified by their authenticator.

U can find good deals but you'll have to deal with alot of nonsense too. Try the trading pit

Some tables have resell prices. Some don't. Just bring some stuff to trade and don't be afraid to barter with what you want. Always ask if it's cool to check out the kicks at each table.

I've picked up some decent condition kicks and some DS kicks for a good price. (Usually towards the end of the event.) I've always brought a duffle bag for giveaways and to hold a few kicks I was willing to part ways with.

Preciate d info.

Kind of a waste but it's still fun .. People ask for way more then retail but you'll see some cool stuff .. You'll see tons of gr stuff and lots of little kids but enjoy

I always made our nice when I brought shoes to sell at sneaker cons. I never really went to purchase things tho but just go. It's worth the experience

Oh well I'm not concerned about that. As long as I get some steals n make it home safely I'm good.

Wow. Really tho I didn't know it was like that. Thought it was kinda like swapping with someone you meet online just in a large public setting. U heard of sum bad stories @ the Charlotte one?

Yo, I CLEAN UP at sneakercon. I rarely miss Jordan releases though, so I almost never rely on sneakercon for recent releases. But for older releases where the hype has died down, I've gotten away with some CRAZY prices.

Watch out for the kids with their angry moms & their "I need a manager" haircut trying to ask $400 for GRs

^^YES! Those broads are the worst.

More info on this please.

The trading pit is a section of the event that is made for the people who bring only a couple kicks to get rid of. Instead of paying for a vendor space or carrying them around or standing against some random wall with their 2-5 pairs. They put together a section that's taped off to set up stuff on the ground.
