Like I said, PEOPLE make their choices. The Bible is just a funny book. It doesn't PROMOTE homophobia. The same way Islam doesnt promote violence.

tell me this. i have friends and co-workers who are gay but i personally do not accept homosexuality as a lifestyle choice for myself and refuse to encourage it. am i a bigot?

You keep referring homosexuality as a lifestyle choice. Ask your gay friends or even yourself when they chose to identify with their sexual orientation. Do you not see that "I'm not a racist cause I have black friends" is similar?

you lost me bruh, i wasnt implying any of that. my point was people are going to have differences regardless and people should learn the difference between accepting something and respecting something if they plan on co existing peacfully. thats all. i guess the "live and let live" term was taken out of context

That's the where the difference of beliefs begins. Some people believe it's a lifestyle some believe it's a culture.

No where does the Bible promote homophobia. The people who try twist the meaning of scriptures to support their hateful agenda are the issue.

people use religion to promote homophobia

yes you could argue that some people are just going to be homophobic regardless and they use religion as an excuse

but there are a lot of people who are homophobic simply because religion was used to validate hate towards homosexuals

religion is nothing but a tool to control the masses

it can be used to promote people hating both those things you listed

if you read the bible and use it as a guide to your life, then yes, you could say it promotes homophobia (along with a lot of other terrible things)

The time you take to find bible verses I dont care about, use that time to find my quotes sayinf I hate gays and gays dont deserve rights.

Homosexuality is not a choice. How can you be friends with gay people and at the same time refuse to encourage them?
If your gay friend got a boyfriend, would you not be happy for him?

well, i said i wouldnt accept it for myself. why? because im not gay. if the next man wants to be gay fine by me. but why do i have to accept something that repulses me? i dont run around spewing my views in public but i reserve the right to feel the way i do and so do people who feel contrary to my beliefs.

Your non acceptance of gays is irrational. Homosexuality is normal. You are trying to imply it isn't. No legitimate basis for disapproving of it. Idc about a ban bet. Like you're using this to threaten me instead of arguing my views and calling me stupid
