Into The Badlands(Amc Sunday)

I hope the training doesn't drag on too long, mk is annoying. Dude also has no manners. Walks into the home of Sonny's girl without knocking on the door and eats her food.

quinn is nasty and an ultimate creep for getting with his son's childhood girl. Probably plotting since she could talk, pedo status.

Story keeps getting better and keeps twisting and entangling Sonny. Every obstacle presents a new problem.
I will watch next week.

Jacobe was double wielding that sword and pickaxe.  He can't handle Quinn 1 on1 though.

So far for the different Barons Quinn has poppy plants/opium and now Oil from the Widow.  Jacobe has mining/gold mines.  I wonder what the other barons have.  Also I guess the River King is pretty powerful since he's the one that makes all the trade between the 7 Baron's lands possible

mk's annoying self needs to be put down. He already has more bodies than most serial killers.

Sunny in a real tough spot now. Everybody want M.K.

Him killing 27 other guys shows his true black eyed savage self though.

The dude playing Jakobe done came up. Went from decent role on House, to lame black guy death in X-Men First Class to being a badass bad guy on The Blacklist and semi that on this show. Too bad his right hand is plotting against him.

This 3 way alliance aint the good. After a nice smash I want these broads and this snake *** son dead.

Now that was a great finale. I don't know what ratings looking like but I wish they had just gave this a full 12/13 ep season.

When those black eyed monks showed up I was like okay another player in to the mix but when they showed they was on that black eyed GOD mode tip like MK just so they could finish off Sunny I was like :wow: DAMN! :smh:

Quinn grew on me. Son was very funny the way he went about being a villain that was unintentional. He had the coolness about him but his whole look, the way he talked, the way he'd talk about the world it'd make me laugh. Sad to see him go but hey Sunny made a promise.

I really wish Ryder had died. I mean MK just wasted everybody else there. That coward cosigns the exile of his moms and now once again he's fleeing from a battle. He is ***** made to the core.

I liked the ultimatum Vale left for The Widow. She basically has to live for S2 to have the same sort of conflict going. Nobody wants to watch Ryder ruling the fort and possibly taking over Jakobe's land along with the Widow's.

I do wonder who Cornell West traded Sunny too.

Finale was great..season was also amazing...That scene when sonny was fighting the 3 people like M.K...definitely one of my new favorite shows..only problem I did have was how easy sonny killed the baron..Was he that weak from the tumor?

Vale was treating him with the poison, he wasn't 100%. Plus Sonnys sword was already drawn, he probably knew he didn't stand a chance considering he pretty much threatened his chick and baby.

That triple team combo on Sonny though, surprised dude was still alive.

When they revealed that Sonny came from the same place though and he faced off with the triple-MK-monks, I thought he would turn to them too and pawn them all.

Nice twist with the widow used to be one too.

AMC Renews ‘Into the Badlands’ for Second Season

AMC will head back “Into the Badlands” for a ten-episode second season in 2017, after its first season’s November 2015 debut scored the third highest-rated first season in U.S. cable TV history.

“With its deep dive into authentic martial arts, the visually stunning ‘Into the Badlands’ proved to be unlike anything else on television,” said Charlie Collier, president of AMC, SundanceTV and AMC Studios, said in a statement. “Co-creators and showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar, along with a talented team of producers, cast and crew, brought us an artfully crafted series. We’re eager to return to the world of barons and blades and spend even more time with these compelling and evolving characters across an expanded second season.”

“We can’t imagine any other network bold enough to embrace a show like this,” creators Al Gough and Miles Millar added. “We are incredibly grateful to Charlie, Joel and the entire AMC team for taking this leap of faith with us and we look forward to continuing the journey into the Badlands!”

Created by “Smallville’s” Al Gough and Miles Millar, the series stars Daniel Wu as Sunny, a seasoned warrior who sets off with a young boy named M.K. (Aramis Knight) on a journey across a dangerous land to find enlightenment.

The first season ran for six episodes on AMC .

would underrated be a good way to describe this show? idk that many people who watch it but its a solid show. story intrigued me, the setting, and i can def tell a lot of effort went into choreographing the fight scenes especially the fisticuffs scenes.

when sunny tried to see the monk squad with the hands at the end of the season but that one monk approached him like....

It's probably underrated overall in the mainstream. I don't think it was a huge hit AMC could flaunt but on NT a good number of us enjoyed it and are looking forward to S2.

Been wondering when we were going to get a new season. Highly enjoyable show.
