well ask yourself this. outside of the OG colors how popular are 1's? What percentage of 1s released are actually OG colorways? why would they change up everything they do when outside a few select colorways the 1's arent their bred

and butter and never really have been? time is money, production space is money, the more time they spend producing their least populat models the less time they spend on their more popular ones.

nike could make 500,000 pairs of these and they still would all be gone mostly bought up from resellers who dont even know who michael jordan is.

If the demand is there they'll buy up baby shoes and lipstick. It ain't got nothing to do with Jordan at all :rofl:

Response might have been for argument sake. There are a few models that many people will pay a premium for. Nostalgia or just pure love for the cw. If you wanna get technical then 4s shouldn't be 190 if 14s are. As there was a increase between the two. I just think 30 dollars wouldn't make someone not buy bred 1s, space jam 11s or even true blue 3s. But retro plus cws and some corny pack with some bizarre storyline will sit. I agree 1s have been the it shoe for sometime but has cool due to less attractive cws. But as I originally stated 220 will not deter many especially on this site.
 
just walked into the same footlocker as yesterday and got another ticket lol.. so now i got 2 entries in the same store

they moved on from elmos and walmart tvs once they found out tons of sneaker buyers will bend over and pay a royal ransom
 
Forgot to ask when they calling for winners.. So I called my local footlocker.. Dude straight up said, "I don't know" come on bruh
 
Seems like most Champs did their raffles yesterday. Currently at Kings Plaza and just put in Raffle Ticksts at footlocker foot action and jimmy Jazz as of 2pm.
 
We'll never know. Retailers could have the exact same number of pairs (store+online) as previously releases, and are just reallocating some online stock to stores that haven't got 1s before. All I know is every store here has received the exact same number that they got for the Chi's. Doesn't mean there's more, less, or the same, and frankly it doesn't matter at this point. I put in my tickets and what happens, happens. I'm more than likely SOL again, and will be scrambling again on Saturday.

true but nike doesnt base its strategies on what sneaker heads will or wont do. theyre a niche market that changes interests with the seasons. they base their strategies off of the average consumer who ever that demographic(s) is/are. all the aftermarket talk means nothing to the average guy that walks into footlocker looking for a pair of sneakers. what you or I would pay for a pair of 4s compared to 14s doesnt mean a thing to the people who arent invested or well versed in sneaker culture which far outnumbers any niketalked minded people.
