question, if and when stores restock... is it possible that people with fake pairs , return the fakes and keep the real pairs... for a small come up... i mean i doubt nike and footsites have people doing verification on sneakers doing returns... just a thought...

there won't be a restock

there's always a restock... even the 2013 black & red pair restocked on NDC along with the royals once.... it was like months after they dropped but yeah

If there were restocks yes that could be a possibility as i have heard it before. However, i seriously doubt there will be any "substantial" restocks of this shoe for the general public, hell it was barely a general release to begin with....

Which makes me go on a quick rant....

Why oh why do they seem to release so few pairs of ones? Especially the most coveted and sought after pairs? The J1 is probably JB's cheapest shoe to produce (quality wise) its comparable in design to AF 1 and SB Dunks. So why (when they know they will make ridiculous money if they do) do they release so few pairs of shoes of this magnitude? I'm just wondering from a marketing, supply and demand stand point.

Any when they do a release and see they demand is so high and they sold out everywhere why not produce more pairs and within a few months do restock??

I totally don't get it.

Sorry for the rant/questioning. But I needed it and know some of you guys can share your insights into why.

Marketing

Make a million holiday 11's why cause they will sell

Make 1's limited or don't come no where near demand. Hype and marketing

Other shoes GR to make the public feel like they have a chance and not jump through hoops

Everyone that wants "Jordan Retros" will get "Retros". Just not the most limited ones sometimes.

But you can have a pair of Matalic 5's and or Flu games.

Holding out for a potential restock is an L waiting to happen. Bots are too quick to move on it.

hype hype hype hype hype hype. If everyone could get these 1s they would sit and JB obviously doesn't want that to happen anymore. Wouldn't be a good look for them. For us, it would tho.

That makes sense but from a financial point, there was money to be made with these joints and they just be like F it lets create Hype???

That's crazy.

On a small scale level its genius and brings more clientele, but for a billion dollar corp like Nike it just seems juvenile.

That's the thing does Nike really think these would have sat?

Between resellers, and people who actually really want this shoe I think they could have triple produced and they still would have sold out. I thought the point of raising the price was for better materials and to kill they resale market???

If that's the case Nike hustling backwards. I mean I can't talk Nike is Nike a billion dollar corp, so they know what they doing but damn, its like they know people want it they know they will make money from it. Hype it up and make us happy, yet we get a plethora of Letterman 1s and those damn elephant print 1s.

I feel what yall are saying about the hype tho makes sense, but still damn. Lol

Since when have 1s been poppin like this? OG or not, I've never seen this amount of love for 1s before. Please give me the run down on when the change took place.

Not everyone can be happy all the time. Nike made enough of these for everyone to have a chance. 3-4 years ago ya'll weren't getting these stock numbers

Nike should restock by the draw so they can at least eliminate accounts that already won. As small as the chance is, the feeling you get when you score on a restock everybody said you wouldnt.. :nthat:

I believe it was after the Royal 1 release back in 2013... 1's sky rocketed after those.
I think the skinny leg jean fad started it lol.

For real though, some retros are too bulky for the skinny leg wearers, 1s are slender and fashionable overall, plus their pretty durable considering.

The skinny jean fad really started around 2013 when the royals released so they both may very well coincide with the other.

Me 1s are just my favorite and I was born in 85 so yeah.

Anyone get an order filled by this dude? I ordered and have not heard a response on multiple messages sent. Bout to send the Paypal police after my money...

I had a back and forth with him on Friday and he said he would be shipping out the 6th. Personally, if I don't have tracking by COB tomorrow I'm getting the PayPal police ready.

It's funny how things change. I have a pair of royals somewhere in my closet that I bought in 01 for 50 bucks.
