The Air Jordan XVI returns in 2016

Anyone that cops I suggest to do it in store. Be sure to check both shrouds before you leave. My CDP came with 2 left foot shrouds so I've never been able to wear them with the shroud

. Same damn thing happened with my CDP 17s.... although those are less noticeable. It's still annoying though

. To those tho think these are  weak because they will sit, you're telling on yourself. This shoe is definitely underrated. I will cop most likely because me passing on blk/red and navy ogs still haunts me. 
 
just copped the CDPs VNDS yesterday off a local cat for $60. Couldn't turn em down at that price. I always loved the 16s. just give me the black/reds, navys, and cherrywoods next year and im good :smokin

I always thought a black/caroline colorway would look dope on this shoe also. same colorblocking as the black/red but with carolina instead

This model should've been on it's 3rd or 4th run by now,  and finally.

I don't think I'll be alive when there's a serious retro run of the Air Jordan XV. Gonna make my kids swear to bring a pair of obsidians or flints to my gravestone.

Even though that's said in jest, my friend actually did die before there was a Concord  retro. I remember piecing our money together to try and get the DMP and striking out so hard. He was going to take the XI's I was going to take the VIs. Think about him eveytime I wear my 2011s.

The XVIs are insanely comfortable! One of the shrouds on my OG pair has sine snapped and the Jumpman fell off the left shoe last week, so these are way overdue for a replacement.

I have a good friend who is a manager at my local mom and pop and I have heard nothing of about the XVI being retroed...however the XVII are definitely being retroed also in a new black/red colorway

This is great news, if it really is 100% true. Unfortunately rumors also surfaced a few years ago (with the release of a few samples) that these would be releasing, however nothing ever came to fruition. I really hope that this time around it's for real.

Unfortunately, I attempted to wear one of them last year and this is what happened. I still have the other on ice, even though I doubt at this point i'll ever wear them.

My understanding is it will be a black based upper with red accents on these 17's. That's what I was told of by my boy who actually goes to the Nike meetings where they show what's dropping for each season.
