You expect it to be? Who buys Hip-Hop anymore? Matter of fact--who buys music period? A lot of artists in many different music genres are struggling to make record sales. The money is where it's always been--shows and performances.

Crazy how these older acts still caking. In hip hop you'll never see that unfortunately.

Touring is a must, hence Future doing shows non stop.

Except he has deals with Sprite, Jordan Brand and most importantly Apple, and also went on tour two or three times this year...

I don't think album royalties are his main source of income.

That's still nothing compared to people going platinum in multiple countries. Sell enough albums you DO make money off sales.

Umm....hip-hop isn't the only music black, or any other person of color make. Was halfway expecting to see Beyoncé on the list. Now that I think about it, she did kinda take this year off.
